“I rather think you’re trying to hide behind those words.” The archangel doesn’t need his father’s omniscience to know when someone is lying to him.

“And if I am?” That much was clear; Ky hid behind most things. Admitting that he had a fault – or imperfection – never was on the table. He spoke lies as if they were the truth as if one day they would be such a thing. All he had to do was convince himself lies were cold hard fact and one day maybe they would be. “—would it matter?”

@hellfirebound liked for a starter from thor.

for a man who spends his life taking care of others, one would be surprised on the depths of hell he has seen. there is more than thunder behind the eyes of this god, and his trips through the universe have sobered a once wild and reckless youth. the change between then and now is staggering, and most can see it once. fewer people approach him now that they can see the grief and pain he carries on his broad shoulders. so it comes as a bit of a surprise when a stranger approaches him on the street.

           “ may i help you? ”

ky should have just kept his distance; focused more on his next stunt to bring him into being the center of attention than something as foolish as this. talking was never his strong suit these days. not when violence was much more easier to justify when those more primal urges took over. still, he was going to at least attempt something more than just mysterious words that amounted up to his usual banter about something akin to the foolishness of a child.

“depends,” he said, hands slipping into his back pockets. “– doesn’t look like you’re too busy.”
