Not to be too bold – but I’m gonna be…what exactly are you ?

it was a question he’d asked himself several times over. what exactly was he and while sometimes he could give titles… the truth of the matter was he didn’t know. not really at least other than two words. “a mistake,” he said, arms crossing over his chest. “simply that.”

“ —- if you’re gonna hang around all night, would you at LEAST do me a favor and … I dunno, do some dusting? Or dig up a few extra blankets or something?”

he could do several things, but dusting? not a chance. a reason to why he opted for the extra blankets. among other things. “wan’t me to leave?” he asked, making his way towards a closet. “i could – wouldn’t be hard either. i hear there’s a nice place open this time of night.”

disasterpieces:

“  come on, i didn’t ask you to show up this time,  ”  the wicked little witch who prayed and pushed away all the big bad demons didn’t exactly do a good job, did she? that’s one more thing to beat herself up about,  “  i don’t have anything of value, can’t you just… i don’t know, leave?  my roommates will come back soon.

@hellfirebound

“ I could, but where would the fun in that be? besides, it wasn’t like he was doing any real harm. well, not in his mind at least.  i mean, i could stick around, cause some chaos, and maybe kill them. you don’t need roommates anyways.”  least of all one’s that could possibly become bothersome.  all you need is me. ”

❝ i see you got an upgrade. ❞ still, roman’s once over doesn’t read APPRECIATION ( even if he can begrudgingly admit he’s a sight more pleasing, but maybe that’s associations with the last vessel… )

❝ wouldn’t by chance mean you called me to say our deal’s done?

image

❝ do you always have to point out the obvious? ❞ he asked, not IMPRESSED with the other’s comment. of course he UPGRADED. it wasn’t done out of choice – rather NECESSITY. a reason to why he decided to firmly SKIP over that fact and move onto more PRESSING matters than simply what he looked like. ❝ and NO! ❞ his final word came out far more HARSHLY than he would have liked, but all the same… it would prove the same POINT. ❝ it’s NOT❞

admiredhim:

“na-uh-uh-uh-uh.” jo warns, leveling a look so unimpressed in nature her mother would be proud. “take one more step and you’re gonna get your ass shot full of rock salt. now tell me what you want before i decide to do it anyways.”

“how about i take two more steps forward and you do something more than rock salt.” a slight grin spread across his lips. “you know, holy water usually works, but honestly? either one of those just tickles on good days. so how about you stand down and we can talk like we’re civilized.”

The rain came down in a relentless torrent, chilling in its damp embrace. It caused the red cloak that hung about his shoulders to cling to his toned form, soaked through to the skin in absence of any garment covering his chest. Had he still retained a fine control over the elements, he’d have put a stop to the downpour long ago. But he was no longer the god of thunder. Or much else, for that matter.

Forcing himself to endure the shower, the axe held in his left hand replacing his mighty hammer, he followed a route between buildings, wishing to see where it would end. Rendered valueless he had little desire to do much else but wander Midgard, at least until he found a way to get offworld. Hopefully that time would come son enough.

Hopefully.

on most days, he would have preferred the rain over sunlight. still, it was quite clear to him that someone ( or something ) wasn’t going to make today easy for him. all he wanted to do was try to relax, but apparently that was just a bit too much to ask for.

still, if he could find an easy target – maybe that would cheer him up. well, maybe not by much, but it would clear his head. a fight… usually did when he had days when he simply was on the edge of who he was. all he had to do was find someone and take the leap — maybe then it would get him back in the right direction.
well, hopefully.

“you shouldn’t be here,” he said, mainly as his own version of a warning as he leaned against a wall. “especially someone who looks… that bad.”
