“well, i wasn’t arguing THAT point.” he would rather not be worth the time and not wind up dead, the alternative was rather grim. but marcus was starting to think that he wasn’t going to be attacked after all. “well, you’re not MY type either, you might just be ALL LOOKS. and few words.” he smirked.

        “an’ you might be all ARROGANCE with no backbone to back it up.” an assumption, simple as that as he made his way forward. “i’ve never enjoyed your kind anyways – always seeing what should be hidden. you might just end up DEAD due to it.”

                  “let me guess, GOLD STAR for me?” marcus rolled his eyes. though he knew that he might as well be playing with fire. hell, that might have been safer. “i’m a little stronger than i look, sweetheart.” he raised a down. “s’because you think i’m CUTE, right?”

                “you’re just NOT worth my time.” cute would have meant he CARED – he didn’t. no, he just wasn’t going to WASTE his energy on him. “an’ you’re CLEARLY not my type.” at least for the moment.

               “i can see you for who you are.” he shrugged. marcus might not ENJOY fighting, but he was always ready for it if he needed to be. “right now you and i have no need to fight, ‘sides, i’d like to see you TRY.”

               “good for you!” a slight grin spread across his features, but then vanished just as quickly as it had formed. “you can see me for what I AM, but that DOESN’T change the bloody fact i COULD take you down.” a pause. “if i wished.”

@hellfirebound

               “ you look like just crawled out of HELL. ” being an asshole seemed like a better idea than panicking, at least before the words left his mouth.

                  “well, aren’t you VERY perceptive? ” he was just being blunt as his arms folded behind his back. “maybe NEXT time you should HOLD your tongue before i decide you no longer have NEED of it.”
