❛ — you know what? i don’t doubt it.  ❜ she’s speaking as if she knows the man in front of her, and there’s not a chance in hell she does, BUT the magic inching across her skin starts to feel like daggers teasing pores, reminding her hey – there’s a reason you don’t sit in crossroads dumbass

❛  people like me? what’cha mean by that hmmm??? ❜ if he knows, well – that would be a shit way to start any interaction at a crossroad, but hell, she’s had worse.

oh, he meant many things, but he wasn’t going to admit any of them. no, he’d keep her guessing for a while, and then maybe he’d manage to spit out the truth. though, even that was unlikely in all reality. ❛ you know, ❜ he finally said, ❛ rumor has it that people come to a crossroads for deals. ❜ a pause ❛ all sorts of deals. ❜

🎲 ‘d and got elektra!!!

       darkness was like a plague to blood, it seeped and it sewed within the confines of one’s soul. elektra knew it well, and standing where she was, head tilted to the side in curiosity, she could feel it festering. like recognizes like, as always, and before she can react to it in kind the black sky within her beckons to where it’s as though the words seeping from her lips tease something inaudible in smog ————– but nothing was there. only her, this stranger, and the darkness settled between them.

❛  you believe it all, don’t you??

      once, he could have said that belief was a two way street. he could have gone onto say it didn’t matter what someone believed. it was all about what is or what is not. though, things changed since then; belief became part of reality. the belief of a few or many could alter the world – so could a symbol – among other things. ❛ i know enough. ❜   what he truthfully believed was that she was a person – what was in her or even part of her didn’t matter.  ❛ simply that.  ❜

it was always the same; dodging cops and staying in run-down hotels. he could afford more – much more, but he didn’t want his name linked to anything. nor did he want to get on any watch lists. a reason to why he hung out in the lowest of low places he could find – anything to stay away from everyone.

that way, he wouldn’t have to worry about the death’s, and he could reasonably find a way to control his abilities. of course, it was better said than done; he already had to change hotels twice this week, but mainly due to his ‘accidents’. the first time was a maid – the second, just a poor kid who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. there would have been a third, but he managed to stop himself just in time.

a reason to why he was in a worse dump than he usually was. it took cash, so that was a good thing, but he still wanted more. much more… he just convinced himself to not grab it… minute by minute and day by day.

   “don’t you have someone else to bother?” a simple question; one aimed at who he thought was just someone passing by as he leaned on the railing. “or somethin’ to do?”

// @personatvs – bucky /what we talked about

cute, a charmer —-  ’  her back laid on the ground, focus set into the night sky and she laughed. did she know what they say about crossroads? of course, she did ——- did she believe the stories??? of course she did. was she about to talk to this stranger all about it? no. of course not. ‘ must’ve gotten left off the syllabus. okay then stranger, why don’t you tell me all they say?

‘ i’ve been called worse before. ’    then again, he would have been called worse simply by existing. waking up in the morning would have amounted to the exact same thing in his mind, ‘     then again, things change – especially round these parts. just don’t see people like you out here,    ’   he mused. ‘ at least these days that have no clue in the world what lurks around these parts.   ’

@hellfirebound ❤’d for a starter!!!

She’s pacing wildly — fingers running through her hair. It’s with a quick gaze she peers over realizing where she’d ended up. A center, a crossroad. So she sits down until even her magic can feel something grossly powerful behind her and she looks up sharp to face the intruder. ‘ —- What’s the matter?? Never see a girl in crisis before??

‘ i’ve never seen someone like you before,’ a lie, what he meant to say was that he hadn’t seen anyone sitting in the middle of a crossroads for the fun of it. sure, he may not have had the full picture for why she was there, but still.. he had a few guesses. ‘in the middle of nowhere… at a crossroads. you know what they say ‘bout them right?’
