A small sigh at the other’s response, before he shakes his head. He isn’t preparing himself for any kind of fight with the other being, in fact, his stance is quite RELAXED. “No, I don’t believe it would. Though, if you’ve come to talk, I am willing to listen— what is it you’ve come for?”
the truth was that ky didn’t exactly know : fighting was all he knew for years, it was just keeping alive, and fighting whoever was stronger. it was a way to avoid the pain, avoid facing what he was, and yet… he never could get around the simple fact of his species. it was thrown in his face every time anyone found out and then… he lost control. he always lost control, “— does it ever get easier?” a pause as he attempted to elaborate, “living I mean?”
Head turns to the side, slightly. “I presume you aren’t here to catch up, hm?” Though curious about the other’s presence, he’d rather let them explain as opposed to him ASKING about it.
“Would it really matter too much if I was?” Honestly, Ky didn’t care about the other asking why he was here, but he would play along ( at least for the moment ), “Then again, assumptions get places, but usually not where you want to be.”
“First off, the term DEMON does get boring after a while, and the only reason I CHANGED was due to the fact I was BURNING up. It happens…. every few months.”
