Reluctant Obedience || Purity and Ky’lar

Purity had to take a deep breath to keep her anger from controlling her actions. “Ky, no offense, but I’m not a murderer,” she said, not believing her own words. “My abilities certainly don’t help, I’m not the best fighter ever, and…”
She trailed off, not wanting to say she didn’t want to or that she was scared. She feared him more than she feared her morals being broken. She paused, making the decision in her head. Screw morals. She was doing this for survival, not for perfection. She took another deep breath and gathered her courage.
“Fine. I’ll do it. Who do you need me to kill again?” She asked him, forgetting if and who he told her to kill when she had her moral crisis. She waited for reprimand. Knowing him, it was right around the corner.
“everyone can murder.” he said bluntly, not even caring that she had finally had agreed to his request. in truth, there was part of him that didn’t care — he could have honestly done it himself, but then again, ky always enjoyed seeing others do the very same things themselves.
however, it wasn’t just about power, or even control. rather, it was simply about enjoying seeing the one’s that he deemed ‘lesser’ do his own work for him. that way, he wouldn’t even have to lift a finger, and he could watch the inevitable chaos ensue.
“either way, your target, for lack of better words, is someone many won’t miss.” well, some would, but that was besides the point, “you know, i don’t like it when people back out of deals with me, and points have to be made. this one just seemed… to fail to understand all the terms of what he agreed to.”
