She gave a soft sigh, her fingers drumming lightly
on the table. “Well it seems to me you only have two.
Run or don’t run. I mean you could always hide but
I don’t think that is the best idea, do you?”

“hiding delays the inevitable.” that much was clear already.
running was the same. the only real option was to face it;
something he dreaded. a reason to why he needed to find
some better option then those two – three rather. “no option
is decent enough.”

This is a reminder that you are a strong, capable, beautiful, and talented person. You’re a beautiful writer and a ray of sunshine, and I adore you and your glowing presence on my dash so very much. You bring such a life and spirit to your muse and I know things might be hard right now, but I know you can make it through it. And I hope your day becomes a little brighter. Don’t forget that you are enough. You are so enough. It is unbelievable how enough you are. 💖

I was going to save this till after my operation, but instead, I decided to post this now because I need this today!

qceenmother:

“And you came to me with this because?” Despite
popular belief, she could not in fact, fix every problem.

“ I thought you would be able to give me more options than
the one’s I have already. “ She might not have been able to fix
every single problem, but he was hoping that she could give a
gesture in the right direction. Even that would suffice for the
moment, “I can’t keep running forever and I can’t simply fight it either.”

qceenmother:

She wanted to push him off the bifrost, or give him back to those
who were looking for him. She was queen now, no longer part of
a team. People could see her as weak, or Asgard as weak. Normally
she would have accepted, given him a free reign, but now, it was
her people and their safety that had to come first, she could not
             compromise with that.

“Three days,” she said after several long beats of silence. “I will
give you three days, but then you will have to leave.” She would
be steadfast in her choice, no wide eyes, no pleading. Now was
the time for her to put aside her gentle heart.

“And if you cause any sort of trouble, for anyone, you will be
asked to leave on the spot.” Asgard was not a place for strays.
Despite how many she herself had fostered. “Do you understand?”

He wanted to say longer. It would have been
ideal if he stayed a week to a month. That way,
he could at least get a plan in motion. Three days,
it wasn’t much. Not even though for him to start
getting the basics together for what he needed
             to do.

“Understood.” He wanted to protest. To be demand
that he be given at least a week. Yet, he knew that it
wouldn’t have worked out well for him in the long run.
This wasn’t his domain. He had no power here. “Three
days and i’m gone. I won’t return.” As much as the words
pained him, it was more than likely for the best. He couldn’t
run forever. Not when his own time was clearly running
             out, “I swear it.”

qceenmother

She laughed, despite it all. She gave a shake of her
head. “There are more than a fair share of people
who are no fans of mine,” she replied, leaning back
in her chair. “And a fair number of those wouldn’t
mind me dead, but I have learned to stop caring.”

“Usually, I wouldn’t care, but when it starts
affecting everyone around me? Well,
sometimes, I do care enough to either run
or stop them —- i usually resort to running
until I know what i’m dealing with.”
