his  laugh  is  quick  and  bordered  with  a  smirk  ,   mostly  aimed  at  the  demon’s  attitude      (   another  way  nero  can  see  why  his  brother  loves  annoying  him   !!    )      and  yet  he  could  take  PLEASURE  in  knowing  he  had  failed  and  his  brother  was  still alive  and  continued  to  be  a thorn  in  the  others  side.                 ❛      And  how  do  you  know  my  BROTHER  hasn’t  taken  precautions  to  make  sure  you  fail  again.      ❜     A valid  question  given  the current  situation.

Nero was amused as he could see it all unravel on the other’s face. He hadn’t been expecting for Marrick to survive the attach that Ky’lar had done. But his brother was a wily one and they were the first born hounds for a reason, they had a lot of tricks up their sleeves. Ones that not even wily demon in front of him could never understand. Lucifer took them under his wing, made them human so he had the perfect hounds that hunters wouldn’t find and well that came with some advantages. ❝ So you say but come on you FAILED once, who’s to say your second try will succeed. ❞ He was genuinely curious about that considering Nero knew Ky would go after his brother again and well as much as Nero disagreed with him, well he couldn’t let that happen.

_{in his mind, he succeeded in his attempt, and he thought the hound was dead. well, until he found out he was. truth be told, he could have just stopped caring, but he wasn’t that level headed. no, the rage that burned in ky’s veins meant that he would have try again to end marrick.
though, this time around he’d have a better plan; bind him or what have you. anything to make sure that ky came out on top. he didn’t even care if he angered lucifer or anyone else in this little…. mission of his. no, all ky cared about was the sweet taste of revenge.
