Hulk roared at Ky, hoping to scare the other man away. He hated to be watched like he was an animal. He was a person too, which is why he appreciated the Grandmaster who gave him the things he wanted to decorate his room and gave him the opportunity to have people cheer for him, instead of screaming.
the roar itself forced him to take an instinctively step back, but in return, his arms folded calmly across his chest. truth be told, ky could have gave his own version of one back, but he didn’t believe it was worth it. maybe later he would, but not now. “— are you done?” granted, even ky knew fighting the hulk wasn’t going to end well for him, but he was at least attempting to show no fear. maybe that way… it would prove he wasn’t here to fight. “or do you really just hate me already?”
“Color me interested. I’ll at least hear ya out.” Logan raised an eyebrow at the man before him. He wasn’t oozing power, but he didn’t seem weak, which could spell danger for him if the other was the kind of guy to seek trouble. He’d been making a bit of a life in this town as its newest resident that was slowly making himself a presence in the community. Yet, every time he got settled, something would come along and hurt or kill those he was closest to.
Ky had truthfully gotten farther than he had expected in this conversation already. Not that it mattered too much to him – what he knew about Logan was close to nothing. So, he was treading on dangerous waters – waters that at any moment could breed violence. A reason to why he was attempting to keep his tongue in check ( more or less ). “First,” he said, “How about a round – on me, of course.”
“Can I help ya?” Logan turned around to face the blond, cigar in hand as he took a puff and blew the smoke into the other’s face. The bar was rather empty, the man didn’t have to get as close as he did, which meant he probably wanted something from him. Otherwise, it was just Logan being a jackass, but that wasn’t new.
“perhaps.” a simple answer. one that in essence hopefully revealed nothing about why he was there. then again, ky was only in this specific bar due to the fact he was looking for someone – someone exactly like the one before him. “depends entirely on you.”
“Why tiny man here? Hulk home. No one allowed!” The green giant stood up from his sitting position and banged a fist against his exposed chest before letting out a roar at the other. “Why bother Hulk?!”
“to simply talk.” a lie, but a truthful one at that. ky wanted to talk; to actually see if the rumors about the hulk were true. however, the prospect of fighting the hulk was amusing – even if it was one that was quickly shoved to the back of his mind. “that is why i’m bothering you.”
