of course he was BLEEDING out; it was what happened when SOMEONE didn’t seem to care about what he was DOING or where he was at. not that he would ever ADMIT that it LOOKED better than the WOUND actually was, but that was Ky for you on any given day.
REFUSING to admit that he was on the LOSING edge of things was COMMON place. even more so when he WASN’T willing to admit how bad things were. ESPECIALLY around FLAG, ❛ you know, for all this BLOOD, I would have thought something BAD happened. ❜ it was an ATTEMPT to make the situation better as he CLENCHED his stomach tightly with his right hand, ❛ give me a moment and i’ll be FINE. ❜ a full out LIE. it would take much more than just a moment to RECOVER from this.
