there is a low and throaty chuckle that escapes mar-vell. “my friend, do not be a subspecies of beings who have a god complex. it will do little good to you.” it’s no secret the blue kree looked down upon the pink kree, nearly seeing them as abominations and too similar to humans. the kree bloodline had been tainted with interspecies mating. “but as i said before, present your claims and i may be able to assist you. no need for, all of this.” hand waves vaguely between them. mar-vell would like to take the diplomatic approach before action.
he was trying to do this the only way he knew would possibly bring results. simply asking would get him no where most of the time, but maybe this was one of the few times it would grant him access to what he needed. if not? well, he’d tried all ways, but simply doing what was absolutely needed. “my family is after me.” it wasn’t the entire truth – not even close to it actually, but he figured he’d start small, and work his way from there.”i can’t go back home and even if i could? i’d be put in a cell far worse than you can possibly imagine.”
“COME, NOW WE ARE CIVILIZED people. the both of us.” mar-vell assumes anyway. even if he is a kree. his business is helping people and saving the day. doesn’t mean that sometimes he’s an asshole. especially if an individual rubs him the wrong way. “instead of attempting to dismember me, why not ask nicely. i may be more inclined to help you out.”
“AND YOU’D DENY MY REQUEST? no thanks.” violence wasn’t always the answer, but it was the solution. talking could get him far, but not far enough. a reason to why he resorted to threats first, action second, and if all else failed? talking would be dead last. “so, let’s get something straight, shall we? among other things,” he said, taking a step back, and a deep breath in, “i want to get back home, but seeing as that isn’t really an option? well, i’ll settle on figuring out what type of situation i’m in – word of warning? don’t piss off family members.” or in his case, a very powerful demon… who just happened to be his grandfather.
“YOU WILL HAVE TO try better than that if you hope to gain any information.” mar-vell muses, rolling his shoulders. a grin tugs at his lips as he adjusts his suit. “care to try again?”
HE HAD BEEN TRYING as best as he could. he didn’t know what else to do or maybe simply wasn’t thinking clearly. he was a long ways from home – far more than he thought he’d be, but here he was. stuck and he didn’t know what else to do besides obtain information somehow… someway. “i could always tear you apart; want me to try it THAT WAY?”
