He completely sealed when the other clenched, hand stopping in its tracks and only resuming it’s very gentle motion after he’d gotten the go ahead, “If you want you can lay your head in my lap and I can play with your hair. Feels nice I promise.”
When the motion was resumed, Ky leaned his head back lightly, but not all the way. No, he’d do that soon enough as his eyes closed for a few moments. “You should do this more often.” Or at least when he was able to – not that Ky would complain as long as Peter kept being gentle. “I might come to enjoy it.”
This was the last thing he needed; someone knocking on his hotel room door.
Maybe he should have just stayed under the covers watching some random tv show and then ordering expensive food from the kitchen downstairs.
Should have, but Ky decided to spend his time on his laptop looking over random articles while some music was playing in the background.
However, as the door was knocked on, he thought it was maybe someone going to change the sheets. He told them not to come by – not to even show up unless it was a bill or he specifically requested it, but still they came anyways.
As he he opened the door and saw who it was he rubbed at his temples for a few moments. “Fuck off,” he said, not even bothering to close the door behind him as he went back to the couch. “— do you want pizza?”
“Yeah I picked up on that.” frowned, peering at him with soft eyes, “I relate to an extent, they can be hard to deal with sometimes.”
“Families are worse – always wanting to… dig their claws into my affairs,” he said, running a hand under his chin. “A reason I try to stay away from everyone… you never know exactly who’s watching or reporting back.”
being touched was uncommon for him. even more so these days. it took a while to get used to anyone being around him. let alone them getting close enough to the point where he’d allow them to get near him. still, there was a flinch; if only for a moment. “don’t stop,” he finally managed to get out after around ten seconds of silence as he leaned into the other’s fingers. “—not now.”
“If you haven’t figured it out already, i don’t really like people,” he said, a deep sigh escaping his lips. “at all really, they just seem to get in the way.”
“I doubt it’ll be your only good deed of the year. Bet you see a homeless man tomorrow and give him a dollar.” He was always one to see the good in people, “I really need a new coat. My old one is from fifth grade and is basically just rags at this point, doesn’t do much to actually insulate me.”
“Anything else?” He decided to drop the fact about his good deeds; deciding simply to focus on whatever else Peter needed. “More than just a coat – new shoes? Maybe some socks?” Truth be told… Ky didn’t even know if people still wore socks, but that ultimately was besides the point.
“Dude it’s not even my birthday, I’m not gonna say no I guess.. most of my shirts do have holes in them at this point, and I would never turn down free food but like.. why do you want to –I dunno do that I guess..?”
“Consider this my one – and only – good deed of the year.” Or ever if he was going to be entirely honest with himself. “So, food, and some clothes – just don’t tell anyone.” Not that they’d believe it anyways, but he couldn’t be too careful.
