“Oh, yeah?” eyes are narrowed at the other, half tempted to pull out his gun and blow this guy away just for speaking to him. But there was a proposition here, Rocket could feel it. “What’s in it for ME?” @hellfirebound
“The opportunity to blow shit up, get paid, and lastly… gain a reputation that would shadow the one you have already.” Was it the truth? Was it all a lie? Possibly, but Ky was going to pawn it off as simple fact. At least until circumstances changed.
Thank God there were still some people with enough brain cells in the world not to have seen Twilight. The fact that Tony knew what it was was a little off putting, though. “Not a freak?” Lips turn downward as brows raise up. “Could’a fooled me. But hey, don’t judge a BOOK, right?” Maybe he was stalling, but that’s what he did best. “I’m afraid you walked into the WRONG BARN, bud. If you were smart, you’d walk away. I won’t even come after you. I think that’s a fair deal, what about you?”
“if i was smart,” he said bluntly, arms folding across his chest. “i wouldn’t be here in the first place.” or maybe he would have been -either way? it didn’t matter to him. “then again, if we’re going with the whole ‘judging a book’ by it’s cover thing? you look like an’ old man – a bit better than my father, but still an old man.” a shrug shortly followed his words. “so, we could talk around in circles for the next few hours – or, you could get your head out of your ass, and let me find what i came here for.” not that ky would complain either way, but then again? he had been surprised before.
“Oh, great! Another freak. Thought things were gettin’ a little boring around here,” Tony was torn between shoeing the pest away and activating his suit in case the other put of a fight. For now, he held off, hoping the whole thing would go away. “What are you, anyway? You’re kinda given off TWILIGHT vibes. Gives me the hibby jibbies, PLEASE tell me you’re not a vampire.” / @hellfirebound
his hands clenched into tight fists; being called a freak was a step above being labeled a mistake, but it still burned. not much, but just enough to get under his skin – to the point if he wanted to, he could cause this entire situation to turn violent. still, he was trying to be decent. more or less. “first off,” he said, “not a freak, and secondly? what the fuck is TWILIGHT?”
