“You’re like a gargoyle up there.”

KNEELING that high above ground had become a new per-usual for the half-demon. His perch was something he was becoming accustomed to. More so than viewing the world either from far below or in an almost freezing apartment.

Still, that didn’t give the reason to why he was up there, but he’d have to explain himself soon enough. If.. he ever got around to it. “And you’re like an ant,” he said, not even bothering to pay real attention to Lucifer. “Shouldn’t you be out doing something… more important than bothering me?”

He had to admit, that facade the demon had hid his emotions behind was good. Lucifer couldn’t help the soft, amused smile that tugged on his lips as he leaned forward, blue eyes narrowing as he listened to the other’s breaths. what are you so afraid of? He stretched his wings lazily, the tips of the ash-stained feathers glowing softly with his grace.

Fear was a constant; he could keep up that facade for a while, but not forever. Eventually, his own discomfort with the situation would start to slip through, but for now, he assumed that he’d been able to keep it up ( at least for a little while longer ). “Nothing,” A lie – one he shouldn’t have told, but it was far easier to admit than the truth.

ky learned long ago that showing ( physical or out-right emotional ) fear around your betters never went over so well. it was best to hide it in the back of your mind until the moment came or, in other words, until the time was right. he’d learned how to be quite efficient with it over the years. a reason to why he tried to relax his breathing as he stood before lucifer- whatever this was ( or possibly could be ). the demon had a very bad feeling about this.

“I would have expected you to be taller. You know, longer hair, and a bit brighter.” A slight grin pulled at the Demon’s lips as he leaned back in the chair; feet up on a table.

Shifting his position slightly, he clasped his hands together, and spoke again, “ So, i’m going to assume this isn’t a social call?”
