A SKEPTICAL BROW ARCHES.   i’ll owe you?  ross wants to spit the words back in his face but he doesn’t. he’s just more interested that he actually got a response from the man. curious and curiouser. so he doesn’t comment. “sure, sure. whatever floats your boat, ky. now, i’m going to try and find tony and figure out a game plan.” being still and idle does him no good. ross is a man of action and he needs to keep himself busy. “so you can tag along or not, but i’m going.”

fingers brush along his kimoyo beads, revealing a wakandan vessel from it’s cloak. he goes right up the ramp and to the cockpit. hands fly over the control as he radio’s stark tower. the agent isn’t sure if any one is there yet, but it’s worth trying.

HE DIDN’T WANT TO TAG ALONG. all ky’lar wanted to do was LEAVE and go back to a place he at least knew. of course, there was no way possible he could even think about doing that now. not when the scales of balance had changed into chaos; even he wasn’t that BLIND to how reality  worked.

“YOU SHOULD THINK of it as going with you keeps me out of trouble.” no, that much was a full out LIE. ky would get into MUCH more trouble there, but at least then he could LOOK like was attempting to help, and quite honestly… that was what was needed.

BEGGING WASN’T ON THE AGENDA. Not now and not ever. To do so meant he showed true weakness; more than just being a half-breed and far more than he’d like to show around Thor.  Even as his jaw was gasped, he still was DEFIANT, and it was only amplified by his words following words ❝ MAKE ME THEN, but I don’t – no, I will NEVER beg.❞

This little tryst could end badly, not that Norrin couldn’t handle the fallout. It wasn’t like it was explicitly or implicitly stated that he couldn’t sleep with others. A part of him realized hooking up with the grandson of the demon he loathed most was some sort of rebellion, a giant middle finger to his captor.

With the hand on his chin, Norrin was forced to look up. He brushed Ky’s hand aside and leaned in, pressing his lips against the other man’s lips. His other hand continued its’ path into Ky’s pants, sliding the zipper down and his fingers began to descend.

It could end far more than just badly. Ky knew fully well what he was getting into and a fate worse than death was on the realm of possibilities. Of course, that was if they got caught, and Ky wasn’t going to allow that to happen. Not if he had a say in it of course.

As their lips touches together, Ky’s eyes closed tightly for a few moments, and simply leaned into it. More so, it had been so long that anyone had preformed the action that he didn’t want Norrin to pull away.  Not now nor ever  as the other’s fingers descended.

[SMS→HELLDOUCHE]: I didn’t think it was possible to feel less inclined to help you, but here we are.
[SMS→HELLDOUCHE]: If you don’t see a problem with it then I don’t think there’s much point in even trying.
[SMS→HELLDOUCHE]: Do you even have a conscience? I’ve often wondered.
[SMS→HELLDOUCHE]: It’s this little voice in your head that tells you right and wrong - just in case you’re unfamiliar with the concept.
[SMS→HELLDOUCHE]: And what are the other parts? Wit and charm? Good hair? Magical cloak?

[ SMS→ STRANGE ]: No. I do not.
[ SMS→ STRANGE ]: I once had such a  thing.
[ SMS→ STRANGE ]: Then I was dragged to hell.
[ SMS→ STRANGE ]: You sorta  lose that after a few centuries down there.
[ SMS→ STRANGE ]:  Well, not centuries for you, but in that realm.
[ SMS→ STRANGE ]: Time moves differently there.

“if you didn’t want  to buy me a drink  then why the hell
do we waste our  time talking? it’s not  like she’s ever
been interested in anything else. use your mind tricks
on someone  else,  i’m not humoring  you if  there isn’t
    anything in it for me.

“you truly think i’m some sort of,” a roll of his eyes. “never mind.” part of him wanted to argue with her, but he already knew that he’d not get anywhere. more importantly, he would only find himself in more trouble. so, he decided to admit defeat – maybe that way she’d stop talking. “you want a drink? fine, i’ll get you one drink.”

Mad was one way to put it.  Ky had forcefully pinned Norrin to the wall with as much force as possible. An assault that consisted of one single kiss. He wanted to go on; to actually give several, but as he was forced away, he came to his senses ( in a way ).

“Does it matter?” he asked, moving the back of his hand to rub at his mouth. “He’s going to find out about it anyways. Might as well make it worth while, Norrin.”

.       even with that prevailing thought in the back of his mind that he wants ky’lar to win ( if only not to feel PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE for bringing his friend in and caging him with whatever means necessary to prevent such mass casualty again ) bobby knows he can’t waste time. the terms are laid out and the icy mutant gives a short nod of assent. he’s looking to immobilize ky, knock him out if he has to, but they’re pretty evenly matched.

IT WON’T BE AN EASY FIGHT.

lips press together and he gathers the condensation in the air, funneling it into a blast of ice directed right at his friend’s feet. if he can freeze him in place, even for a little while, it gives him more opportunity to strike the finishing blow.

image

IT NEVER WOULD BE AN EASY FIGHT.

even when they used to train, ky had warned bobby OVER AND OVER AGAIN about what could happen, and how he could lose control of himself. back then, his abilities were only able to be used when he was angry, and EVERY LITTLE THING set him into a spiral of pure unrestrained HATRED

over the years,  he had learned to EMBRACE that part of him to keep it untamed and ready to strike at any given time. ready, to be unleashed at the first person who -in his mind- deserved it. for the moment, that was – someone who he could consider . – a friend. all he had to do was time everything just right and he could end it quickly.

he knew how bobby fought or used to fight at least. knew that it was going to be a game of speed on the part of them both. a reason to why he moved as quickly as he could forward; hoping to not just escape the blast, but also close the distance between them.

❝ is that… all you got? ❞ maybe it wasn’t the best thing to say, but truth be told he didn’t care at the moment.  ❝ maybe you need to go back to school. ❞ ironic since it was ky who should have stayed there longer, but none the less, he wasn’t going to do anything drastic… at least to bobby.

❝ or maybe, ❞ he said, moving to send a fist towards his friends chest, ❝ you should clean up after me like the old days. ❞

stormharbinger:

TAKING A THREATENING step forward into the lithe half demon’s space, Thor’s lip curled up into a sneer. He hated demons, hated the way the looked, hated their energy, hated the way they smelled. In the opinion of the thunder god, the only good demo was a dead one.

❝  And it would serve you well, cockroach, to remember that I have bested Mephisto. If you truly think yourself my equal, let us duel!  ❞

❝ I am your equal. ❞ At least, that was what he told himself. Ky’lar wasn’t fully whole… nor was he actually there most of the time. His mind constantly drifted unless he was centered by someone or something. A reason to why fighting was one of – if not – the best option to keep him not just on edge, but focused.❝ you may have defeated Mephisto, but that means nothing, Thor. Even you should know that one person – even the kin of a demon – is not and does not have the same value as another. ❞

his lips pursed into a fine-line for a few moments, ❝ and we will duel. this i swear.❞

"Just certain people who seek me out to do their dirty betting.“ Frank stated. He sat down on his chair with no interest of reading the newspaper or the book nearby. Not with someone he didn’t have the slightest distrust for. The man could put on trust me face, but he was good at spotting the terrible things someone has done.

“And what is this task of yours?” This was his second task and he felt like some errand boy when it came Ky because he was being sent out with a mission. An raised an eyebrow not the fact he would have kill targets, but to cause a distraction. This was not something the Punisher was none for, not his kind of thing. “Why would I be causing a distraction?”

image

“If we’re going to be completely honest, I don’t, nor have i ever needed anyone to do my dirty work.” In truth, Ky could have done it himself, but he knew that sometimes it would benefit everyone if outside assistance was obtained. That way, things may actually go entirely to plan, and not as haywire as they usually did.

“I can do it myself, but,” he trailed off for a few moments as he then grunted. “I believe you could help me.” Even if he had to word things just right so maybe castle would listen to him in complete detail. “If you don’t like the term of distraction…  think of it was a job while I do what’s needed; the real dirty work and you get to have a bit of fun.”

saigames:

she is as silent as SHADOW itself — unskilled eyes couldn’t pick her apart from the darkness, even her red silk unable to reflect light. this, however, is a DEMON’s matter — somehow the assassin suspects courtesies such as introducing herself are simply pointless ( still she grins a deadly, menacing grin: her version of a handshake ). ——  lil’ birdie said you’re hiring. ”

there was an expectation that someone would eventually show up. if it wasn’t to ruin his plans, it was to gather information, or maybe talk. all options were on the table and even her words wouldn’t change his mind on that little state of fact. “you shouldn’t listen to everything you hear. eventually, you’ll find yourself in a quite… unpleasant position by doing so.” his lips pursed together for a moment. “just a little food for thought.”
