he should have kept himself under control, but there was always so much rage in him. when he got angry, he got violent, and it was close to impossible for anyone to snap him out of that rage.
this time around, it was triggered simply by a few words said at the wrong time. usually, he could brush things off around her, but that wasn’t this moment in time. no, he let himself fall into the very rage he was trying to control, and he already could feel his fingers closing even further around her neck.
“i fail to see how that’s my problem.” rather, he failed to see why it mattered when he couldn’t even focus on anything real. let alone who he was actually strangling.
hydra, brotherhood of mutants, hellfire club, masters of evil, and even the avengers. these villains, and heroes all they all think their cause is right, they find themselves facing against odds that never seem to make sense. good should always lose, it’s impossible for them to win, but they always manage to pull it off. they always manage to beat back the villains. not any longer. these impossible odds will shift in the favor of villains and the heroes will finally learn to fear these words; THE SON OF BLACKHEART HAS RETURNED!
She gave a soft sigh, her fingers drumming lightly on the table. “Well it seems to me you only have two. Run or don’t run. I mean you could always hide but I don’t think that is the best idea, do you?”
“hiding delays the inevitable.” that much was clear already. running was the same. the only real option was to face it; something he dreaded. a reason to why he needed to find some better option then those two – three rather. “no option is decent enough.”

he already knew that this wasn’t the best way to save someone. in truth, he could have just teleported in, and ended it right then. of course, the problem with that was amusement. if anything, ky’lar enjoyed the thrill of killing someone. even more so when he let himself go.
true, it had been years since he rampaged around with little care in the world, but this time there was a purpose behind his actions. this time, he was doing it to find someone he cared for. he wouldn’t exactly call it caring, but that was the best way for him to explain it. attachment, for what it was worth, was dangerous. very dangerous.
a reason to why ky even thought this was due to his involvement with her. something… that he would take responsibility for when the time around to it. “playing hero,” his words came out more annoyed than anything else as he ran a hand under her chin, “and saving you.”
Sif didn’t quite agree with that, but she could understand his point of view. It solved plenty of problems, she thought, but she supposed that diplomacy solved more. And violence did cause problems, that much was true. Didn’t mean she didn’t like it, though. She enjoyed the heat of battle, letting go and letting loose. Being a Berserker was addicting in some ways. Horrifying in others.
“I don’t think that’s true.” She wasn’t calling him a liar, exactly, but she still didn’t think his words were entirely right. “Perspectives don’t matter. It’s what you think. Even if you didn’t think what you were fighting for was right, you didn’t exactly think it was wrong, either.” Those who fought with no convictions didn’t fight for long. And nobody actively fought for something they thought was wrong. Or, again, not for long.
“Perspectives are decided by the winners. Everyone believes they’re right, or most everyone.” She shrugged. History was written by the victors. What else mattered?
“and sometimes, doing the right things for the wrong reasons does more harm than good.” well, that was one way of putting it. not exactly the best, but not the worst either. then again, had always ended up on the short end of the stick so to speak — he was a mistake in most terms. that meant that while he had some leeway… he always had more on him than he should have.
not that it mattered to him, the best way to do anything was to convince everyone he was doing one thing, and then go for a complete other. it was a distraction, but it rarely worked. at least… when he had attempted to in the past. after-all, he was attempting to find his place… even if it meant destroying everything around him in the process.
“a reason to why i attempt to avoid dwelling on it. i may be many things, but… i attempt to do what’s needed.” or what he wanted, “usually.”
it took him a moment to really
think about the best way to answer this. shield wouldn’t just let him
go after they were done interrogating him. they both knew that shield
would want more and to say anything different would be lying. “no,”
he finally answered, knowing that it was better to admit the truth
than try to lie.
unfortunately, it was his job
to bring this kid in and to let him go wouldn’t look good on him. not
that he honestly cared. his job was to do the right thing and
sometimes doing the right thing meant going against what shield
wanted from him. and in this instance it was starting to look like
the right thing to do was to let him go. steve knew it would mean a
lot of explaining but better than the alternative; this kid getting
lost in shield’s system.
“you could and things get
could really ugly if you do decide to fight.” people would get
hurt, innocent civilians could get killed and no one wanted that. but
shield would give him that if he decided to stand his ground, and it
would end up destroying parts of this city. sighing, steve knew he
couldn’t let that happen. as much as he hated the idea of letting
this kid go given his orders, he knew in the end it would be for the
best. “i’ve seen what shield can do and you’re better off on
your own than actually going in with me.” he was doing his job
and shield could deal with the fallout from this however they wanted.
the only thing left to do was
figure out how to get this kid away from all agents that would be
converging on the scene. if he could get him to come with him he
could drop the kid off away from all the action. “come with me.”
it was going to be a long shot but at least it would get them away
from the scene. “i’m not taking you in but i can drop you off
away from all of this.”
messy was a major understatement. if things got into a fight, there would be more dead than needed, and ky would be the cause of it all. in truth, it was what he was expecting; a battle of epic proportions. something that he would be known for and something that he wouldn’t walk away from unscathed. that way, he could prove himself as someone more than just a child – no, a boy who was grasping at straws to understand the limits of what he could do.
getting captured by shield wasn’t an option. to do so would mean that he proved himself weaker than he thought. not to mention whatever they would do to him. ky wasn’t a good person… if he could be called such a thing.”things always get ugly around me. you’re just delaying the inevitable.” it was a fair point in his mind; he would just go back below the radar and wait this out.
shield would look for him, but another situation would arise. next time… maybe he would be stronger. be able to take them all on with out a second thought. that day… it would come soon, but he didn’t want that. what he wanted… was control and to know what he could do. something… that would only come with time. “it’s your choice,” he said.
it was all about choices. ky made his already – to stay and fight. to destroy everything to prove a point. however, that could be changed — if the one before him was willing to help him out? it would delay things, but not forever. “just make sure it’s right one.”
A simple HEAD TILT is all that Robbie is given before he feels the DEMON inside of him start to stir. He could feel the rage burning through his veins and simply allows the other to take over. His body BURNING at the feel of him awakening, as his demon takes over. Once the demon had control he stands up, looking at the other. ❝ You wished to SPEAK to me. ❞ Voice loud and distorted.
and there it was. the DEMON that hid right under the others SKIN. it was a very RARE opportunity he had. so rare, that ky had to be sure to NOT MESS IT UP. a reason to why as much as he wanted to DESTROY the one before him… there was more IMPORTANT matters to deal with.
they could come first; the DEMON would come second. he needed ALLIES and the RIDER was the best CHOICE. ❝ among other things. ❞ he wanted to do MUCH more than just speak, but he was going to FOCUS on the more important matters first off. ❝ —- what do you know about my father? ❞
The look sent the others way was tense and showing the Captain really had no time for this. He sighs softly at the other for a few moments. ❝ Not boring, responsible. ❞ He had no idea why he was defending himself, he didn’t have too but he chooses not to answer that last part. He had heard enough age jokes to last him a lifetime.
❝ according to whom? ❞ ky should have kept his mouth shut on the matter, but instead, he decided to push forward on the subject, ❝ all i see so far is an old man. ❞ a slight grin pulled at his lips, ❝ one, who i will enjoy seeing fall. ❞
❝ i’m gonna have to take your word on that. he doesn’t sound like the type of guy you invite over for dinner. ❞ logan’s pretty intense, so if there’s someone who is a match for him, bobby doesn’t wanna be anywhere close.
❝ okay, so in a fight between logan and…scott, who do you think would win?
❞
❝ he isn’t the type of guy you’d take anywhere. ❞ then again, ky was the same way in all reality. he thrived on chaos – only reason he was having to restrain himself around the school was due to a deal. in truth, the first moment he got a chance, he would leave; possibly team up with the brotherhood if he got a chance.
the only problem was that he knew that control was first. at least… being able to keep himself in one piece. his powers were sporadic; he needed to find his own triggers. that way, he would know how to activate and control his abilities when the time came. it was the prime reason he was after-all and ironically the very reason he stayed.
❝ as for… logan and scott? depends. logan could win if he gets close enough, but as long as scott has distance? he should be able to win. ❞ then again, it was all about chance, and if ky was faced against logan on good days? he had a sure bet that logan would go down easily. it just depended on the situation.
