dee doubted that everyone would keep their heads on properly. it was one thing to be in the same room as lucifer, but to be around her son would be another thing entirely. part of her thought things would go great, but another… she didn’t want to even think of that outcome. the one where she lost everything… again.
“do you really expect him to play nicely?” a simple question, but one that she knew had to be asked, “he’s unstable, uncontrolled, and…” that was when she realized that her hands were balling into tight fists and let out a deep breath, “hopefully not willing to murder me the moment he comes in the room.”
Lucifer knew nothing about this would go well, all of them were like the worst cocktail that could exist. Each of them with their own goal in mind and that included him. He was forever aiming at something that no one else knew. It was amusing for him, to see another family as dysfunctionally messed up as his and he actually appear like the normal one out of it all. To say he was having fun would be an understatement. He eyes Dee and smirks as he notes the way her hands clench, his whole frame simply relaxing back in the seat as though he had no cares in the world.
❝ Your son is many things including those you just said. But who knows, he might decide to indulge us with his curiosity. ❞ Was he falsely trying to plactate Dee with his words – Maybe. Mostly as he didn’t know how it would end, Dee’s anger alone was enough to throw this thing into high reverse and as usual he would be the one who was cleaning up the mess and trying to repair damage That of course is if he feels like it.
usually, ky only stayed in one meat-suit around Lucifer, and that was due to the fact he enjoyed it so much. then again, there was real doubt that it would matter what or who he wore these days.
he’d gotten to the point where he was comfortable. far more than he had around any other and he didn’t want that to change. sure, they had their fights, but that was part of who they were. ripping and tearing each other apart till there was nothing left.
then again, they always healed; might not have been the same as before, but they both had their jagged edges already. the sort of edges that cut into anything got got near and always got sharper as the fights went on by.
it was to that very reason he tried to stay away when he could. breaking the ‘rules’ so he could do what he wanted. sometimes, it was just making deals or even tormenting hunters, but on the rare occasions he hunted angels. something he had been told to stop several times over and had… for a while. he just always returned to his bad habits.
a reason to why he wasn’t very keen on returning back to lucifer just yet — still, he was sure he could spend the rest of the night in a cool hotel room after crawled back to his archangel. that way, he could have his own personal form of relaxation by downing several bottles of alcohol before returning to the other’s side.however, he would have to get through this first before ( eventually ) draining a shit-on of alcohol from either public bar or a private one.
as ky entered through the doors his arms quickly folded against his chest. even more so since he noticed that someone else was with him. just his luck that this was going to be either a meeting or… something. so, in his mind, it would be best to get this over with, and then he could go back to his usual bit ‘relaxation’ with-out having to deal with anyone ( demon or otherwise ) for at least another hour or two.
“so,” he mused as he gave a faint gesture to dee, “who’s the girl?” he could have asked much more on to why exactly she was there, but he wasn’t that interested. mildly curious about why she was there, but not that interested in her in all reality.
