“ I could. But, I won’t. Because you don’t know what you’re asking… “
“Don’t I now?” He asked, smirk spreading across his lips. “I know exactly what i’m instructing you to do an’ if you don’t?” His hands interlaced together. “I believe i’ll have to find someone else.”
“you remember when i used to have those moments ‘cause of the scruff?” she’s not trying to start shit, and she’s actually calm around him for once– surprisingly. still not quite making eye contact, however, but at least it’s progress. perhaps one day she’ll be able to have civil conversations with him without her blood pressure raising incredibly high. // @hellfirebound♥’d
“i remember not shaving for weeks,” he said, hands slipping into the back pockets of his jeans. “among other things, i was only doing it for your benefit.” a slight grin pulled at his lips for a few moments. “back then, things were easy. i just don’t think scruff suits me as it used to.” at least they were being civil – so that was quite honestly a plus. “then again times change.”
of course he would. that was what he did to everyone; bend them to what he wanted or, rather, needed. then, when they broke? he left or even killed them. it was a cycle that happened again and again. just when he thought he’d changed… he fell back into old habits. though, this time around she knew exactly what he was capable of, and it was why he was trying his hardest to remain calm. to prove – not just to her -, but to himself that he truly could be decent.. if he put his mind to it. “maybe. maybe not.”
“well, trouble for one is amusement for another,” he said with a shrug, “i fail to see how your mood would have anything to do with it.”
“You do know I chain your kind out to posts for fun, correct?” Ethan possibly knew already, but, for the most part, Ky was just putting it out there. That way, there was no mistaking just what he was capable of.
Ky was also about to go on to his usual rant about how all Vampires were leaches, but instead, he held his tongue. No, this wasn’t the time to go on about that. Why admit or even waste energy to repeat the same thing he’d said again, and again, and again? There was nothing beneficial in it. Not really at least.
“Now, If you call me that again,” he said, taking in a deep breath, and letting it out slowly. “I’ll seemingly forget the agreement we have and you’ll be gone by sunrise.” Though, even Ky knew his words were false; he’d do so much worse than simply kill Ethan. There was no fun in out-right killing any Vampire. Even one as amusing as them.
