LIFE WAS PAIN. it didn’t matter their species or abilities. it didn’t matter if they were RICH or POOR. the entirety of existence was filled with PAIN – to some they could thrive in it, but others? well, they couldn’t. not really. either way, LETTING go was something ky never could just do. he still HATED everything; his past, his current situation, and whatever FUTURE he had. trying to CHANGE it was IMPOSSIBLE, but he still ATTEMPTED – even if it would never AMOUNT to anything. “yeah,” he said, arms folding across his chest, “reality sucks.”

   ky couldn’t help the grin that spread across his features
as he pulled his hand back. true, he didn’t get to have much
of his fun, but no harm no foul? right. he thought as much. 
“to be quite fair? i was just trying to,” a roll of his eyes, 
“what’s the saying humans use these days? oh, yes – claim it.”

he’s eying him up,  head to toe,  deep in thought for a moment before allowing himself to speak.   thor tilts his head,  then gives a small nod.    “alright,  you look built for it  –  but how well can you fight?   if you’re not actually able to do it,  i can take over from here.”

“decent enough.” though, it honestly depended not on who, but rather, what he was actually fighting. most of the time he had the upper-hand due to his strength, but even so, there were times where it was useless in some situations. “if it’s needed.”

       for once, ky was speaking truthfully; there would be literal hell to pay when he got back home – not just for leaving, but for being here. a reason to why he had said his former statement. maybe then he wouldn’t have to deal with the shit that was no doubt going to face later on down the line. still, he sucked in a deep breath, and tried to act calmer than he was – anything so maybe he could get his point across. “you don’t get to make that decision! not for me!”

    “so, i’m right then? good to know.” among other things. “just means i can skip that little part.” not to mention save time. “’course, while everyone has a price – not too many people are willing to settle for one.”

He knew he was the hellhound that Ky’lar wanted to kill more and it was amusing.

“trust me, it won’t happen again.” or maybe it would. ky wasn’t entirely sure of that fact. though for now, he wasn’t going to deal with fighting him; no, he’d need a better strategy this time around. “you can be sure of that.”
