❝ i know what you’re thinking; middle of nowhere, a guy comes up to you in a very fancy suit, and he has an offer for you. not just any offer, but a great one – all you have to do is sign a paper and you can rule the world. so, tell me…what is it you want, but instead of your soul… i just want a favor. one that i can claim at any time up to and past your inevitable demise. ❞
“then leave!” he was so close to simply ripping apart any sort of friendship or what have you with anyone. so close to taking a one way trip back home and not caring about anyone else ( not that he cared much to begin with ). all he had to do was gather the right supplies and he’d never look back. “or maybe i WILL first!”
well, ky’s pissed off, and refusing to do anything now. so i’ll be lurking.
if this was any other time, ky would have been able to get out of the other’s grasp with-out even breaking any sort of sweat. he could have even moved to snap the other’s neck like it was a small twig. no one got that close him – maybe the people he liked, but even then? that was debatable.
still, this wasn’t one of the usual times were he could simply use a portion of his full strength to get out of the situation. he may have been strong to start with, but with out his more… demonic abilities? he barely was powerful than an average human. maybe a bit more, but not enough to escape this – not when he knew it was a vampire that was holding him. a vampire that he’d tortured for his own twisted sense of amusement. oh, how the tables were turned against him.
his eyes closed tightly as he attempted to get out of the grip, but it was clearly put exhausting. everything that he tried to do wasn’t working. not that it mattered much – he was useless (to everyone including himself) like this.
“get… off,” he hissed out through clenched teeth shortly after Ethan’s teeth bit down into his shoulder. screaming would do him no good; a reason to why he focused on keeping his breathing relaxed (as best as possible) since there was no escaping this. not while he was grounded.
“– or i’ll tear you to shreds.” the threat, however, was baseless – he couldn’t do anything at moment, but eventually… he would. when he got un-grounded, he’d make sure to rip ethan apart… piece by piece. of course, that was if he lasted that long.
before i passed out i was thinking about about when ky gets grounded… he gets GROUNDED. as in – he has no access to his abilities or anything ( more so he’s stripped of them ) AND he can actually more than likely DIE when he’s in that state. i mean, he still cannot die of natural means, but anything else? yeah, let’s just say,… he doesn’t like being GROUNDED.
Ruby never expected demons to be fair for shit, but considering what she had done by getting Lucifer out of the cage, she felt as though she deserved some respect, even from the ones that were apparently stealing thrones down under. And by fair she meant by staying the hell away she could continue doing just that.
“I don’t work for anyone. Royalty or nobility…not for the humans, not for the angels. Ask someone else,” she told him, but bit her lip. Being respectful would hopefully thwart any potential anger for refusing a job.
“i really would reconsider your stance on this.”
even if she didn’t, ky wasn’t above dragging her back to hell with-out even a second thought. if that was what it took, he’d do it with out thinking of the consequences, but then again, he didn’t want things to go that far. no, he’d rephrase what he wanted, and then go from there.
“you may say no know, but none of us can avoid hell forever. in-fact,” he continued on. “if you do this job for me… i can assure you that you’ll never end up back there.” at least if everything went according to plan.
“to quote some play i’ve never seen before? no– not my problem.”
