“see… you wear a leather jacket and pretty much everyone that swings your way will be too distracted by their bad boy fetish to care what you’re up to. humans are simple, for the most part. if one or two people around aren’t charmed you can knock them out of the way no problem.”

“i wear one as it’s comfortable.” among other things… plus the aesthetic didn’t hurt much either in all reality. “if they are so idiotic to sign themselves away due to the look of leather? they are as dumb as expected.” maybe even a bit more honestly.

to walk the halls of Hell was left to beings so much lower than he; he made his own place in its farthest beating heart of hearts && his own perception of reality within the cage, and allowed others to rule his creations. As long as they remained LOYAL he did not care of their petty wars && power struggles – as it is in their nature to ever reach closer to the ceiling && seak out the height of their existence. It is in their nature, because it is in Lucifer’s nature to seek ever higher to the heavens && take what is rightfully his.

He raises a hand, a finger pointing to him, and holds it for a moment – two. “You’ve been keeping your head down? Color me impressed.” His shoulder rolls, and he drops his hand, squaring his feet to face him. “Shouldn’t they all be scared of you, big bad wolf?”

“newer generations don’t seem to think anything scares them.” at least in most cases. killing demons worked, but more took their place. torture didn’t even seem to get through their thick heads at times. so, ky did what he did best, and worked with what he had. lying could get him far; an intimidation of power proved incredibly well, but it even had it’s… limitations.

“try as might… things haven’t been easy.” or, he was going about it the wrong way. a show of power could go far, but getting noticed was another thing. at least in his mind. “keeping my head down these days just seems to be the best option.” more or less.

“ —— who said it’s your problem? you don’t want to get involved, FINE —— but then get the hell out of here so you don’t get in the way.”

“ now, that i can do. “ he didn’t even have to think twice about that little fact. no, all ky had to do was step out of the way, and let everything fall into place. “more or less – i think i’ll just watch.”

ARMS  FOLD  ACROSS  HER  chest,  Clara  still  regarding  him  with  a  raised  brow.    What  truly  could  be  much  worse  than  the  information  she  already  held  in  her  mind,  the  knowledge  she  collected  from  all  her  travels,  from  her  deaths,  or  lack  thereof.    What  more  terrible,  universe  altering  information  could  there  be  than  a  way  to  prevent  people  from  dying,  one  that  could  literally  tear  time  in  two?      Maybe  not,  but  it  needs  to  be  found.

“everything needs to be found eventually.” if it was up to him, he’d change exactly who he was; maybe be able to give himself a half-way decent normal life. well, maybe, but he wasn’t going to even attempt that. no, he’d learned the hard way that there was nothing that could change his fate. nor what he could do to escape what he truly was. “the good… and the bad. go forth if you wish, but i’m not helping.” never again is he putting his life on the line for anyone else.

His touch caused the young hunter to pause from her almost frantic flipping through the pages of an old, worn tome. For a moment, she was silent…. and, when she did speak again, her voice was softer. Thoughtful.    “ Yeah. Yeah, I know. I d-do know you can. ——- Trust me, th-that sounds good. It d-does. I just… not yet. I can’t, y-yet. “

“why not?” a simple question, but one that demanded an answer all the same. he wanted to know why she wouldn’t just stop – it would be safer. not to mention ky wouldn’t have to worry about her. not really at any-rate. “it’s not like your doing any good like this.”

Oliver is swallowing hard as he is raising his bow aiming for the man’s chest, “ and I am not like anyone else you have encountered in your past , I would think twice of what to do next “ a pause follows if he was still the hood the arrow would already have found the man’s chest and this would have been over with.

“you sure ‘bout that?” he sniffed for a moment. “you smell human – even look it. so, you tell me what makes you different.” more specifically, ky just saw oliver as a human; simple as that, but that could change. after-all, he’d been wrong before. “change my mind.”
