“Mother + are you happy with how ky turned out?”

Send “Mother” & a question and my muse’s mom will answer it

should she have been? possibly. he was alive, but far too much like his father – no, he was worse than that. still, was she proud? no, not happy either, but he wasn’t her problem. not anymore – no, it was long past that point. if dee wanted, she could wash her hands of him, but for some reason she still thought he was her responsibility… maybe he would always be. she just didn’t think of it as anything important here or even now. “– no. i’m not.”

aworldfullofmuses:

@hellfirebound – hope this is good!

“I wondered how long it would take for you to find me.” Shorter than he expected, perhaps he underestimated his adversary, which didn’t bode too well for him the last time. But Ethan wouldn’t be easily trapped this time; they stood on even ground, with Ethan’s guard firmly intact. He watched the other carefully, so not to be ambushed once again. “Have you come to repay your debt for ruining my custom tailored four hundred dollar suit?”

“a four hundred dollar suit is pocket change.” even more so to someone like him. when ky wore suits, they cost far more than a mere few hundred dollars. then again, the demon always had to get the best of everything – even clothing. “if you work for me,” he said bluntly. “you’d see it that way soon enough.” though, that was if everything went to plan, and so far… nothing had been going that way for quite a while.

John’s brows creases not with worry or concern for what Ky had done – for all he tried to do for the man, he wasn’t going to get involved in skirmishes he had with divine contenders – but for the way in which his actions could change the delicate balance of power. He often made it his business to know which demons currently ruled the roost in the Inferno, and the same could be said for upstairs.

So you mean to tell me you trounced an aesir god with his own bloody weapon? That could be…problematic, if the stories he heard about Thor were to be believed. And that was before even considering how the All-Father could react to his son’s defeat.

There were far too many parts in play. This was why he kept his attention focused on the devils he knew better.

And now you want me to, what? Tell ya ‘good job, old son, ya really fucked up this time?Feeling a headache grip his mind, John shakes his head, loathing every second of this news. You might want t’ get movin’, Ky. These godly types tend t’ hold a grudge.

“i was expecting more of an applause.” not really – all ky expected was maybe a grin or something of the sort. his affairs with gods – particularly thor – was part of a complicated business.

he didn’t – originally – intend to start this, but now he had to deal with it. fighting thor was… amusing at times. a reason to why he kept going back to fight him for the challenge. so what if he’d cause a war? he doubted that it would matter in all reality. least of all to him.

“an’ for the record, it wasn’t that hard.” maybe a little, but ky didn’t think the specifics were very important. least of all to john – if he could take down thor, he could just about take down anyone, but he wasn’t going to admit that out-loud. maybe at one point in time, but not now – not when he knew there was no real point in it.

“’sides, i already have beat him,” he gave a shrug, “three – maybe five times already? i’ll be fine.” most likely – just as long as no-one else decided to get involved in their fights. once that happened? well, ky would have to start changing his methods.

“ i never respect my elders, ”   she is quick to point out, knowing that most of her elders tortured her or forced her onto stupid missions that worked for the bad guys. elders were overrated.   “ i’m going home. obviously. ”   jessica takes another step towards him in order to show that she was not afraid. that, in fact, he needed to be afraid of her.   “ so, you should get out of my way.

“you’ll have to eventually.” that was just how the real-world worked. he could have gone on about it, but instead, he gave a shrug in return. no, he wasn’t going to do anything stupid – well, more so than usually. “see, i could get out of your way or… we could talk.” he took a step closer in return – his own way of raising the stakes – “i believe… the move is,” a pause, “how do they say it these days? oh, right – yours.”

sundaesanddemons:

“I could leave,” he agrees, siding with Ky on this one issue. He was far and away from the office, in a region of the world he hadn’t travelled to before now, but didn’t seem to mind. “But where could I go? It’s your fault we’re stuck out here in the sticks. So unless you can crack open another hellgate, I ain’t goin’ anywhere fast, pal.”

“it’s your fault you followed me,” he said, trying to point out the obvious. “even if i wanted to… it’s not that easy.” though, the reality of the situation was that ky didn’t feel like using any trace amounts of power to get the other to leave. that would have meant he cared and right now? he didn’t. a reason to why he was willing to put up with the annoyance… at least until he felt more motivated. “even for me.”
