He had no intentions of committing error, waste time on the emaciated hope that Ky could be something better than what he revealed himself to be today. Deeming that many a false step had been taken in what was with the benefit of perspective a bungled, heavy handed approach to his management of the problems posed by the half-breed, Thor’s patience had reached a fatal tipping point. After which the next point called for action to be taken.
“I do not have to, for I can but see one way in which this will end.” Raising his arms, each hand was shown to wield a sword, each as long as his arms as weapons were called for in the wake of the breakdown of words. At the ultimatum aired, the blond doesn’t shrink away but rather steps closer. willing to stand against the male and his loosening of self-control.
“You’ve killed far too many innocents, Ky’lar. I cannot allow you to continue your slaughter.”
the loss of self control wasn’t something new. it happened when the half-breed attempted to explore his limits. he got far enough where he could truly feel the power – the pure energy he could control and that was when everything went south.
ky’lar didn’t know how to cure that itch under his skin. he didn’t know how to draw everything back and he didn’t know how to stop himself. sometimes, he could simply exhaust his abilities to the point where he feel to his knees. though, other times… he wasn’t that lucky.
this just happened to be one of the few times where control was just out of his reach. changing into his more demonic form could help, but he wasn’t about to lose what little control he had left. he wanted to maintain himself… maybe that way he could keep himself together and maybe one day own what he was… though he doubted it at this rate.
“it will end the way it always ends, thor.” that much was for certain in his mind as he took a step forward. “i can’t control it and i can’t let go. i won’t.” ky just didn’t want to accept the fact he was more monster than man.
❝ i know what you’re thinking; middle of nowhere, a guy comes up to you in a very fancy suit, and he has an offer for you. not just any offer, but a great one – all you have to do is sign a paper and you can rule the world. so, tell me…what is it you want, but instead of your soul… i just want a favor. one that i can claim at any time up to and past your inevitable demise. ❞
it was a question that could have been answered simply in three little words. so easy to just say the truth that has on the tip of his tongue. it wasn’t like it was hard to tell; ky’lar despised blackheart. now, it wasn’t due to the fact he was a demon, but rather it was how ky himself thought he was just an abandoned creation. a mistake that should have been covered up and left to die. that was what always made his skin crawl; it wasn’t what the other was. it wasn’t even being left alone do what he wanted. it was simply he didn’t feel he was wanted or should even exist in the first place. what ky’lar truly hated about the entire situation is that his father only seemed interested in getting him out of trouble. nothing more – he had to discover everything himself. it wasn’t like blackheart left a rulebook around either. so, to the question – that took far longer to answer than expected – he let out a deep breath as his hands formed into tight fists. “do you think i’m even capable of such a thing?” he was ( or so he thought at least ), ky just rarely allowed himself to tone down that ego. “he means nothing to me.”
The smart mouth of the demon caused Sam’s thumb to move until he could cock the gun, a sound that echoed in an otherwise silent warehouse. “Really? ‘Cause I can’t think of any,” the hesitation was merely a tactic– Sam needed to know what this demon wanted, by they were both there at the same time. “Try me,”
“fair enough.” all ky needed was a few more moments to come up with a plan. though, his head was replaying what could happen of sam pulled the trigger. in-fact, he actually wanted the other to pull it – could be fun in his mind to see what could happen, but he wasn’t going to test fate. well, not today at least. “i’m as human as you are,” on good days. “and it would be a shame for any of my … demonic family members to get upset.” a pause. “they don’t seem to like it when i’m… threatened.”
“come on, i didn’t ask you to show up this time,” the wicked little witch who prayed and pushed away all the big bad demons didn’t exactly do a good job, did she? that’s one more thing to beat herself up about, “ i don’t have anything of value, can’t you just… i don’t know, leave? my roommates will come back soon.”
“ I could, but where would the fun in that be? ” besides, it wasn’t like he was doing any real harm. well, not in his mind at least. “ i mean, i could stick around, cause some chaos, and maybe kill them. you don’t need roommates anyways.” least of all one’s that could possibly become bothersome. “ all you need is me. ”
“this is why i don’t do relationships anymore,” he said bluntly. “they don’t like blood, or the way i dress, or they just want to send me back to hell.”
