“What are you doing here?” Castiel narrows his eyes. If demons— or someone with demonic ties, in this case— were present, then that was never a good sign. Their presence was always unwanted, and he wasn’t buying whatever they were selling. And frankly, he didn’t have the time to be dealing with abominations today. “Leave, now. Before I make you leave.” // @hellfirebound ♥’d!
“is it so hard to believe that even i can be helpful at times?” actually it was – ky almost always had something up his sleeve. all he had to do was enact his plans and let them unfold. of course, this time around he didn’t have a solid plan, and his ultimate goal was just to see how close he could get to ending the existence of the angel or… at least getting some answers.
“i’m here,” arms folding across his chest, “due to the fact i got word there was something in this area that could be useful – ever heard of ark before? square, said to hold some tablets or something. stolen by a group of very weird scientists a few years back?”
THE WOUNDS ON HIS FACE drip crimson liquid . arm comes to swipe the blood away . ross is concerned at the amount that coats his shirt . still , the ordeal seems to be far from over .
FAR FROM OVER WAS ONLY one way of putting it. arms folding behind his back as he examined his work. if he was in a better mood, he may have stopped himself long before it got this far, but he wasn’t. in-fact, all he wanted to do was get answers; if that didn’t work? he could just leave the guy here… bleeding out. maybe someone would find him? if they didn’t… touch. “ now, are you ready to do as i ASK ?”
“So you’re…what? The prince of hell, or did I miss the memo? I’ve never heard of you before.”
Not since she had gotten out. One knife to the stomach was the only sign Ruby needed to stay as far away from the Winchester brothers for good, so when she got out, she stayed out. Nothing to do with hell or what monster she was, but trying to make her life as normal as she could.
Running into another demon (if that’s what he was?) probably wasn’t a good sign. For whatever reason he was there, she hoped it didn’t mean a one way trip back downstairs.
“Haven’t been home in a while. Hope that doesn’t mean I’m going back, I like it up here. Haven’t even caused trouble, plan on keeping it that way.”
“ yes, well, i don’t really play well with others. ” not to mention if there was a memo? would have more than likely contained the little order to bring him back downstairs. though, he was doubtful she would know anything about that – especially with her last string of words.
however, she might be useful… even if he despised a majority of his ‘kind’ if he could even be called demon these days. “ something to do with my tendencies. ” or, in short, that ky didn’t like people following him – demon or otherwise. well, that, and he usually killed anyone who got too close for his own comfort. "among other things,” he said, hands hands slid into his back pockets.
“My brother tells me you are in
search of a relic.”
It wasn’t every day that
Thor brought him someone who was looking for something they had within the
vault. It wasn’t every day that someone was brought to him period, so he had agreed to meet with this stranger. It was a nice
reprieve from watching the trainees trip each other up and make complete idiots
of themselves. While his brother warned him not to trust the man, Loki thought
that he should decide for himself. Even now, he could sense that there was
something different in the other. A darker aura, certainly, but there were many races in the multiverse that had
similar auras.
Well. It was a mystery that
would solve itself in time.
“And what would you expect this
relic to do?”
“think of it more as a means to an end.”
he already was on uneasy footing with everyone here. his arrival had been… difficult at best. most of his connections had been extinguished just to arrive here and it would take decades to regain what he had previously. that was if such a thing was possible, but there was always a slight amount of hope. even if it was just a very small possibility of such a thing happening.
still, he was at least playing ‘nice’ here, and that meant he couldn’t pull his usual betrayal at the first possible moment. no, he would wait till the third… or maybe the forth possible moment to do so. that way, he could build some what of a general feeling of trust, and any uneasiness could fade away – making his actions far worse than they would have been before. even more so if they were… unexpected.
“among other things,” he said, hands sliding into his pockets. “it should take care of a problem; if not permanently… at least for thousand years or so.” maybe a bit longer if he was lucky, but even getting his father out of his hair for a short amount of time would suffice. “killing them would be the best course of action, but if not? i’m open to… other options as well.”
“don’t mistake my composure for tolerance, thor.” there was already enough blood on his hands today and he didn’t need anymore; his abilities were going hey-wire. he couldn’t even stop myself from killing a kid who just wanted to get away. all ky was capable of right now was holding himself back, but even that wouldn’t last too long. “i’m giving you one chance to go.”
❝ i know what you’re thinking; middle of nowhere, a guy comes up to you in a very fancy suit, and he has an offer for you. not just any offer, but a great one – all you have to do is sign a paper and you can rule the world. so, tell me…what is it you want, but instead of your soul… i just want a favor. one that i can claim at any time up to and past your inevitable demise. ❞

“betrayal is a common theme among all species. especially glorified humans. witches… they become who they are because magic makes them powerful – and nothing good ever comes of power.” she for example had gotten a lot better at saving the hosts of demons by exorcising them with her mind, but at the cost of starting the apocalypse.
“sometimes it does.” though, most of the time nothing good came from anything. it didn’t matter who they were.. everything turned horrible given time. still, ky thought something good come from power… even if it was just saving himself. “most of the time though…. power is worthless.”
