he wanted to argue with the statement but he didn’t see the point in it. what he deserved was up for debate and either way, Ky’s the last person he’d have that discussion with. no one deserved anything according to the other demon. humans deserved to die and everything else should be on their knees. and to think he gets ridiculed for not being like other demons. half the time they pissed him off more than any other species does. “as long as it’s a pit far away from you, I really don’t care if I get stuck there forever.”
“you might get what you want… in time.” a simple truth as ky took in a deep breath and let it out slowly. ky was many things and if keeping caleb down in the darkest pits would work to keep him in line? well, it was worth it… more or less. “of course, that all depends on your attitude… among other things.”
‘ cute, a charmer —- ’ her back laid on the ground, focus set into the night sky and she laughed. did she know what they say about crossroads? of course, she did ——- did she believe the stories??? of course she did. was she about to talk to this stranger all about it? no. of course not. ‘ must’ve gotten left off the syllabus. okay then stranger, why don’t you tell me all they say?

Control and care were things the mutant had been mindful of since her weather manipulation abilities first manifested as a teenager but time hadn’t made the constant vigilance any less draining. For her genuine misbehaving happened during those rare indulgent moments when she’d cut loose bending the heavens to her every whim.
“And since that can easily lead to countless charges of manslaughter I suppose our definitions are not far off.”
“well, my own abilities could be called… many things.”
reckless, volatile, and fatal were just the terms that were usually used. not to mention that he didn’t know the true extent of his powers. well, he knew somewhat of what was possible, but not enough to know how far it went. nor did he have the opportunity to actually test his theories in the way that he needed to.
“murder just seems to be one of the few things i do best.”
he couldn’t resist the roll of his eyes at the question. nor could he hold back the question he posed in return. “don’t know – maybe it’s passed yours.”
