A small sigh at the other’s response, before he shakes his head. He isn’t preparing himself for any kind of fight with the other being, in fact, his stance is quite RELAXED. “No, I don’t believe it would. Though, if you’ve come to talk, I am willing to listen— what is it you’ve come for?”
the truth was that ky didn’t exactly know : fighting was all he knew for years, it was just keeping alive, and fighting whoever was stronger. it was a way to avoid the pain, avoid facing what he was, and yet… he never could get around the simple fact of his species. it was thrown in his face every time anyone found out and then… he lost control. he always lost control, “— does it ever get easier?” a pause as he attempted to elaborate, “living I mean?”
❝ Really? I’d like to have a dog but– we travel a lot. ❞
❝ Too many parties for one. Not to mention whatever else they might drag in,❞ Ky said. ❝ I might still have a family… for whatever it’s worth, but they hate my choice in style. ❞ It was something that he may have to fix eventually, but that was… something he was still working towards at any-rate.
“i highly doubt that.” she may have had power, but the demon wasn’t going to put trust into simply that. they had his father to deal with and getting his body back. of course, he doubted that it would be in decent condition, but then again, it didn’t matter. it was his and no one else’s, “if they get in your way… you’ll not be able to hold your own for long.”
“for the record, there are no hard feelings, are there?” ky leaned his head back for a few moments, “you’ll get out of the fighting pits… eventually. might even win your freedom back, but do you truly believe you’ll ever be free?” a pause, “ at least… while i’m alive?”
“i highly despise being interrupted.” it was a simple comment as the man moved to wipe the blood off his face. though, he would say that he was a bit disappointed that the one he was trying to skin got away. then again, they would live to see another day, but wasn’t that progress of a sort? he actually didn’t kill someone or maybe it was on purpose. either way, he glanced towards the other for a few moments, “now, if you’re going to lecture me on how ‘murder’ is wrong, i’ve heard it before or… are you simply here to send me back?”
“i’ve been in worse situations before… a few people after my head isn’t anything new.” granted, he usually had a plan to get rid of them, but this time around? well, he didn’t, and that was what made things interesting ( at least to him ), “i’ll figure it out. always do.”
“that’s not what i heard.” his arms crossed over his chest with a grunt, “say what you will, but barely would mean you just had a slight hand in it.” his lips pursed into a thin-line, “my information says differently.” a pause, “very differently.”
