Though the angel is in a defensive stance, he has no plans to fight the other unless it becomes absolutely necessary. “How did you find me?” Deep frown is apparent on his brows as he speaks; he believed he was sufficiently hidden, but that will CLEARLY need to be looked at after this is dealt to. The next question that comes to mind causes him to tilt his head, “Why did you find me?”

“you spend enough time in the world, you can find anyone… might take a while, but it wasn’t that hard.” a lie, it was always difficult to find people who didn’t want to be found, and the demon enjoyed the challenge. not to mention it gave him something to do instead of murder… so, there was that, “at any-rate, i thought we could have a little chat.”

The price was expected. Exactly what any monster would want. Immunity against the Winchesters. And Dean was willing to pay it, until he decided it was time to break it.

He lifted his chin, pursing his lips in a sarcastic smile, adam’s apple bobbing in his throat. There was anger in his dead gaze but he controlled the thirst to kill.

“Deal. Do it right and I won’t come for ya.” he knew it was a mutual distrust. The demon would keep an eye on him and he would keep an eye on the guy back. As long as he got what he wanted right now. That was all that mattered.

he expected the other to try to negotiate the terms; that was what most managed to do. even with his own personal contracts, everyone wanted something more than they had. it was, in most cases, easy to make sure that the deal was all in his favor, but it took negotiation — something that he expected to be done here.

since it wasn’t, that meant that they were doing this simply on original terms; something that he usually disliked, but then again, if it kept the winchesters off his back? well, he was going to take it — even if eventually it would turn out to be a terrible mistake.

“if i find out your lying,” he quickly said, “i will make sure you find yourself in the deepest pits of hell before you cay say… ‘sorry’, understand?” it wasn’t a threat, but rather a promise; he didn’t like getting played and he was willing to do whatever it took to prove that.

Eyes are somewhat glazed over with disinterest as they fall upon the other. “Come now, trying to be sneaky? Around me You and I both know that’s the behaviour of a first-rate moron.”

image

“ do you really think that i would attempt to be sneaky around you? ” his arms folded over his chest, “ i may be many things… most of them not good, but i know better. ” most of the time at least, “either way? I was simply waiting for the right moment to announce myself. ”

the demon’s voice was GRATING;         ky may have not cared much for the other,     but their very presence was VERGING on the edge of ANNOYANCE.    if the prince wanted to SKIN someone (    be it human or demon   ) he could do WITHOUT the comments of a lower level aberration.

“     you ARE cleaning it up.    ”           his voice came out as more as a growl as he gave a short glance at the other,    “    or you’ll JOIN them.   ” it wasn’t a threat, but rather a PROMISE.

Cocky. Why were the attractive ones always so damn cocky. It was probably something to do with the fact he was a demon. Hell, even demons knew when they had the goods. Jo wrapped the fingers around the shot glass in front of her before tipping her head back and letting the liquor warm the back of her throat.

“I’m going to hell for this,” She laughed aloud before nodding towards the direction of the exit. “Lead the way, cowboy.”

honestly, everyone was going to hell these days; it didn’t matter how, but rather, it was just a factor of when. sometimes, he made sure they went there, but others? well, humans managed to go there by themselves.

either way, he was going to give her a fun time, and nothing would change that. well, at least not now, “we’re all going to hell.” he mused out lowly, “you just might get the fast track tonight… if you’re lucky.”

he was staring but in his defense, it was weird. not ‘my ex was a doppelganger of someone else’ weird but pretty high up there. somewhere or in a morgue? what happened to the one who was using it before you found it? he’s not asking because he cared or was judging, he was actually curious. are they still in there or do you get rid of them when you take over the body? was it like the travelers? he’s full of questions apparently and if Ky’s going to be here then he might as well ask them.

“—- better question, does it even matter?” in his mind, he doubted why damon would have even cared about such things. he was simply in another body; one, that would suffice for the moment. of course, at the same time, he was still going to answer the questions — just he wanted to make it clear he didn’t think  clear explanations were needed, “i sometimes make sure the soul is gone, but other times? well, they don’t get that luxury.”

he once may have cared about what happened, but now… ky just shrugged it off. as long as he was in one piece, he didn’t care about what happened to anyone else, and it stayed that way… usually, “not that it matters much any more. human life is so…. boring.”

weightofmyshield:

()    This was too dangerous: having a civilian out in the open… wanting to fight. Sir, The Super Soldier tried again, eyes scanning the surroundings to ensure they were still clear. I really must insist, it isn’t safe– Steve pulled up his shield, blocking a blast aimed at the two of them. He couldn’t say this was the first time an innocent had tried standing up with them, it was rare but a downside to the Avengers Initiative. Clint had to escort a kid off a roof because he thought he could help with his little BB gun.

Grinding his teeth, Steve took the man by the arm. I’ll say this one more time. The blond couldn’t keep the growl out of his tone. You need to leave, so I can do my job.” He already had so much blood on his hands: years, decades, centuries of lives lost… Sometimes when he closed his eyes he felt like he was swimming in a sea of blood. He refused to let one more innocent be on his conscious.

He should have considered it lucky that the blast didn’t hit him, but if he wasn’t distracted, it wouldn’t have even gotten that close in the first place. True, he was still a ‘civilian’ in most military terms, but at the same time, Ky’lar wasn’t about to change that anytime soon.

Staying below the radar was easier that way, not getting too involved, and staying as far away from S.H.I.E.L.D. as entirely possible. It gave him a sense of false security that meant he wouldn’t be questioned or even hunted. Though, he had a clear feeling that he was going to be known after this…at least if his assumptions were correct.

His focus, however, was shifted from his personal thoughts on the situation back to reality at the moment Steve grabbed his arm. Granted, it was something that needed to be done as he shouldn’t have even been there to begin with, but at the same time, Ky didn’t exactly see it that way.

“Don’t touch me,” the words, for all that they were worth, were done out of an instinct reaction, “ And go save someone else!

That brought a chuckle out of him, “they sure know how to get everywhere.” He agreed with a shake of his head.

Nathan let out a breath and nodded, tucking his notebook into his back pocket and securing the gun in his holster. “Ahh just another day in the office.” He stated as he headed out, leading the way from their little shack and into the dense trees and vines around them

“they also know just where to bite… to make it hurt like hell.” and that was just the start of things. he didn’t like bugs, it didn’t matter what kind they were, he really disliked them, and would kill them any chance he got.

of course, he didn’t really have the effort to do so now — he just wanted this over with, and then he could ( eventually ) move on from there, “for you at least.” he said as he followed.

“that is the definition of being caught.” there’s a frown as she stares down the man, arms crossing over her chest as her eyes narrow. “this isn’t a snag. this is a you can leave this office of your own volition or i can have security escort you out if you’d rather moment. it’s really your choice.” slowly, she crosses towards him. “you can tell said friend that they’re not going to get any information digging through drawers.”

it was true, he had been caught in the middle of a search — one that he shouldn’t have even been doing at any rate. yet, he was getting paid, and that was all that mattered to him. money fueled everything under the waves and above them. it was only a matter of time before cash came flooding into his pockets and at the same time…. he wasn’t going to risk getting into trouble ( at least publicly ).”we could also talk before i leave. would that suffice?”
