“You do seem to be the one with more experience in these situations.” Of course, if these were just hired goons, Ky would have been able to take care of them himself. Yet, they weren’t, these were something else – an unknown, and it was why he was being – for the most part – careful, “So, it’s all up to you.”

he clung to the archangel for a reason. they were safe, they felt safe, and that was exactly what he needed right now. ky’lar wanted — no needed –– something stable these days. fires he could handle, he started enough of them to know what they could do to anyone trapped inside buildings, but he never stayed around to watch anyone die. he never had to see it for himself.

yet, he wasn’t frightened. just detached from the situation… yet he still cling to the archangel like a child… like he was more dependent on the other than he would wish, “— are you sure?” the question was innocent enough or so he thought.

Because you forgot one major thing, pompous prince. In the end no matter who states a soul is there, they all end up as property of a reaper. Even you demons. There was nothing but true facts reigning in his tone as well as a taint of jest as he jibes at the other. After all he was owned by death, not demons. So again – why should i help you find a soul which as it stands belongs to me and my boss.

“To be quite fair, i’m not an ordinary demon.” Even if he was, Ky doubted that he
would say anything different. However, Logan was right, and there was no denying
that little piece of information. All souls, it didn’t matter who claimed them, were all
property of a Reaper. Still wouldn’t stop him from asking at any-rate, “’Course, I fail
to see why it matters. All I need to know where it is and then… I can go from there.”
Honestly, he doubted he would get any answers, but he was at least trying ( even if
he knew there were some paths that should have stayed closed forever ), “Either way?
Let’s just say… it’s personal and that I had to come from somewhere.”

‘ it is a hell of a lot easier most of the time… i can agree with that. but it’s nice to find somewhere that just feels… right. ’ the roadhouse had been the only place that he had found like that. even if it had made him stumble upon the supernatural side of things. he enjoyed hearing the stories and helping hunters out with their research, regardless.

‘i’ve never found a place that feels right. even when i think i have…. it doesn’t last that long.’ maybe he should have kept the words to himself, but in truth, it didn’t matter too much to him, ‘things get taken away, people move on, and your stuck in a hotel room with only room service to keep you company.’ he then paused for a moment, ‘and a tv if you’re lucky.’

“Look, what does it matter?” She finally asked. “Sure, everyone has a breaking point. You wont find mine, it’s that simple.” Kara stated. “Are you trying to find it? See if you can work it to your advantage? Because I can assure you, if I ever do break. You want to be very, very far away.”

“Just very far away?” A faint chuckle escaped his lips, “Relax, I can take care of myself.” Usually, “’Course, if I was trying to find your breaking point? I would do more than simply talk.” Either way, he wasn’t about to attempt to find it…. at least at the moment, Maybe later though.

❛ Well, I won’t mind a Chatty Cathy when I get a couple glasses in me, but I hope you’re not in your anger inducing mood. Unless of course that doesn’t get too ugly. That’s the last thing I need right now. ❜ She needed some time to relax instead of deal with an ornery demon.

‘     it all depends on the luck of the draw.   ’ or, rather, how he was feeling after several drinks in. getting angry was easy, but restraining himself wasn’t, ‘ personally? i’ll try to keep myself under control. well, mostly. ’

“I would not know better than you, incontestably.”       Squinting her eyes slightly at him, she studied the man with attention, whom claimed to be one. Now she had to decide if she counted him as one of hers. He didn’t look like one for sure.       “So what you are saying, is that you do not fear anything, or anymore?”        He got her intrigued clearly now.       “I am not scared of you or death in general.”       Since her youngest age, she knew tales of Hel, Goddess who received a part of the dead, && that she should be anything but afraid of her realm.      “&& you do not look intimidating either.”       Insolent ? Probably a little, yeah.

“If you already know your answers, why are you asking me then?”     Blue eyes moved to stare at him intensely in his dark ones, bold.        “Care to tell me more? So far, I do not believe you are a God. What if I forced my sword to meet your heart? Would you bleed?”

“Does anyone bleed when you stab them in their heart? What you see, what you really see is a reaction of what happens when you break open the flesh of a person, and that is blood.” He was attempting to go towards how a person is just a fleshy meat sack, but instead, he failed to do so.

A reason to why he let out a deep breath and attempted to make things easier to understand, “What you see right now is a vessel. My true form isn’t meant for this world.” If he was being honest, his true form was an abominable disgrace to creation, but that was besides the point, “If you stab me, my vessel may bleed out, but I will still be standing. A body is what keeps me stable on this world. Nothing else.”

“That…sounds like you’ve been in prison more than once.” he admitted, a sort of half laugh leaving his lips. “Dude, foods stupid expensive. I just try and slip it in my jacket whenever I go to the store.” he shrugged, pulling a face.

image

“A few times.” Though, in truth, it was all his fault, but he did get out in the end by throwing money in the right directions, “Honestly, though? Food should be cheep. At least something… then again? I’ve always been one to buy whatever and deal with the price tag at a later date.”

Honestly Marrick would rather do a million and one things instead of playing babysitter to the due he hated more than anything in the world but alas this was the order he had been given. So what if you sleep with him. I’ve been in his service since the day he saved my mother and i was born, long before even your father was born. And despite his many faults Marrick was loyal.

He knew the other had assumptions and to be honest Marrick didn’t give a shit for them. He had no idea why he was chosen but when the archangel gave him an order he didn’t ignore it. It ain’t happening mate, so just sit down and be a good boy.

image

“You do know that ‘sit down and good boy’ doesn’t really go into the same sentence with me, right?” Honestly, all Ky wanted was to do what he wanted with no real limitations, and at the moment, that wasn’t happening, “’Course, you’re right. You’re older, stronger, and more than likely more loyal.”

Not that it truly mattered to him, Marrick could have been the right hand of Lucifer, and he still wouldn’t have changed his attitude towards him. “I just don’t care. ‘Cause, I have a good feeling that when the punches start coming? You’ll be down for the count and then i’ll find out what is up his ass.”
