⦃☠⦄—❝Who the fuck are you?❞ The fourteen year old asks, a sneer forming on his face. ❝Has mother finally decided to send people like you after me?

“You do know there is such a thing as LANGUAGE, right?” The man’s arms crossed firmly over his chest, “It would be in your best interests to mind your tongue.”

Ed was a horrible liar and even worse at finding people lying, but that one was so bad she caught it. She frowned at him, confused why he’d lie to her. There was nothing for her to gain from it. Eddie crossed her arms over her chest as she looked him over.

“OK, but why do you simply enjoy it?”

Ky was about to go off on telling her to keep her mouth shut. That she didn’t need to know what was going on with him. It was true, she didn’t, and Ky’lar was going to keep it that way as long as possible. After-all, why did Ed need to know anything? She wasn’t even something that the Demon cared about.
“Do remember you live due to the fact that I think you’re amusing. Don’t make me change my mind about you.”

The more that Nero listened to this dude he could understand why his brother tormented the demon so much, why he found amusement in winding the other up and to be honest Nero was finding it just as amusing. A dark brow raising towards the other as he works to conceal the laughter that was running ripe through his system. He figured his humour wouldn’t be welcome.

Ah welcome to the joys of being a hellspawn mate, we’re all mistakes. Though the way he drawls it was sarcastic and reminiscent of the humor inside of him.

His eyes rolled at the other’s words. The sarcasm was quite clear, but overall, Ky’lar decided it was in his best interests to not respond to it. After-all, there was a difference between being a demon and a Hellhound, “Some at least had a choice in it.”

It could have been debated, but then again, he disliked most of his own kind, and a major portion of humanity. Didn’t matter who they were or what their loyalties were. He disliked them all, “Most don’t.”

Nita arched an eyebrow as what the man said grabbed her attention. “I wouldn’t worry too much about it, being good is overrated.” Nita reached into her pockets digging around for her cigarette pack.

“I mean, it’s also subjective. Just because someone doesn’t find it good, doesn’t mean that the act is necessarily evil.” Nita pointed this out as she gave up trying to find her elusive cigarette pack.

“Many see the world in simply two dimensions. Either good or bad, but truth is? Just shades of grey.” Then again, Ky always resorted to violence instead of attempting to resolve things peacefully.

“Well, usually. Then we have these kids who yell and cry ‘foul’ at something they deem  ‘problematic’.” There was a roll of the his eyes, “I almost miss when things were simpler. Well, almost.”

❛ i guess i understand the will to run. i have ran from pretty much every portion of my life. i’m hoping that this one sticks. it’s been pretty awesome so far. ❜

before this he had always wanted to run. from his family, from his college, from his days of bouncing around and barely making ends meet. he felt like he lived a strong purpose in this bar, in addition to having fun whenever he wanted to.

‘ there are still times i want to keep running.’ honestly, ky would have enjoyed it if he didn’t have to deal with anything. to live a normal life where the most important thing he needed to deal with was bills and what to wear. though, he didn’t have a choice in that life. nor, did he ever think he would have one anytime soon. if he did, he would have had to weigh everything against each other, and then decide. ‘it’s just….. easier to not fight against it at times.’

“You know how there is a fly buzzing around your face for no apparent reason and you simply cannot get the thing to go away? That’s you.”

“—- And here I thought we were going to be GREAT FRIENDS!” Of course his tone was sarcastic, “You know, i’m MUCH more than just a simple fly, and I thought YOU would have known that.”
