with a single nod, DEATH took a few strides. while the demon seemed… relaxed… the PALE RIDER held a strict posture, an austere appearance. ❛ you assume too much… there is no place for secrecy and lies among us, HORSEMEN. we are the true nature of decree. HAMMERED and SHAPED to be EXPLICIT and EXACT. ❜ pale lips curled and formed a snarl.
❛ to include me would be to risk your OWN exposure, KY’LAR. ❜
❛ what i ASSUME is that everyone has secrets; you might not think of them as such. to your mind, they simply might be ‘NEED TO KNOW’, and yet they are still there. ❜ not that it MATTERED to the demon, he could cares LESS about how the HORSEMANinteracted with each other. it WASN’T important. not to him at least.
❛ ——- and what do i have to EXPOSE? i already know what i WANT and if i can’t have it? i’ll settle for the DEATH of every human on this wretched planet ❜
❛ so you’re trying to tell me that what i am . . . what i can do ——– is because i . . . i have demon blood in me? how, why? tell me that, & maybe i’ll actually believe you. ❜ he steps forward, & she instantly steps back, her eyes focused on him. at this point, her nervousness would make people around her start having nosebleeds & headaches, but something about him must have been different. ❛ my emotions hurt people. sounds demonicenough. but why? ❜
❛ as for the how an’ why? don’t know your case, but the story is almost always the same. ❜ not that he was willing to truly admit what the so called ‘story’ was, but ky’lar knew that at least putting the idea out there would give some answers, ❛ you have abilities, they have a trigger, and you hurt people. for myself, it started long after i was an adult, but we all have a choice. you can ignore them or…. accept them. ❜
“ —– I don’t wanna make it sound like I don’t trust you, but that seems unlikely.”
❝ ——– unlikely that i could go two weeks with out murder or that i killed the one in-front of us? ❞
❛ ——– alright, fine, let’s talk. what do we want to talk about, hm? ❜ maybe she’s a little too used to being burnt by stupid jokes about how she’d tried to take down the winchesters ( & horribly failed. ) perhaps that’s why she was so bitter nowadays.
❛ i was hoping we could start off with something unimportant, but let’s get straight to the point, yes? ❜ his lips pursed into a thin line for a few quick moments, ❛ i need your help in making sure someone’s out of my hair for a very long time. ❜ it didn’t matter how long — anything over a year would be what he wanted, but there was a doubt she would even lift a finger. a reason to why she was one of the more lower end choices he had.
❝ but that’s the thing. you had to have made a choice to end up in hell… even if it was one of the more noble reasons to sell your soul… it was still your choice. ❞
sidney hated trying to muck through the gray area, but it was important. though most demons did nothing but kill, he had learned that some of them didn’t.
❝ to some, maybe. for me, i ended up in there for simply existing. if i sold my soul, there would have been a real reason to why i was there, but sadly enough, i don’t even believe i have one. ❞ even if he did, there was no doubt it was just as black as it could possibly get, but that was from his own history more than anything else, ❝ doesn’t matter anyways. still damned for eternity. ❞
‘ then, if you sound so awesome, why don’t you let me go? ‘ honestly, he didn’t think dean would ever let him go, but at the same time, he was at least being hopeful, ‘ you already know most things don’t work on me. why don’t you just give up? i’m not the enemy. ’
‘ can’t you see i’m busy, ‘ the siren asked, her eyes a glowing gold as she stood above the body on the ground. another night, another victim. her fangs sank into her gums as her oculars softened to a dark chocolate color. his presence reeked of demon, which made her decide that he wasn’t enough to warrant a threat. @hellfirebound / sc
he wasn’t going to respond with the most obvious answer that was of course; yes. that would have meant, in his mind, that he already knew that he was interrupting, and just trying to ultimately save face. it was the very thing that the demon was attempting to avoid.
❛ don’t care. ❜ simple words; especially these days, but all the same, the demon didn’t care what she was doing or how busy she was.
Hell would have to freeze over before Claire would even consider begging for her life. Still – she’d been running from death her entire life – this wasn’t any different. She knew how to take a beating & come out on the living end of the fight. Even when her punches just wouldn’t land.
She could tell he was angry. Claire would focus on finding a way to use that – maybe he’d slip up – and she could find a way out of this situation. “I’ll take worse over dead any day.” She spit at his feet, blood mixed with saliva. “Besides, is this the best you’ve got?”
“Do you know what it’s like, being trapped in your own body, but unable to effect the world around you?” A slight grin pulled at his lips for a few moments, “I could elaborate on the subject, but I have a feeling that you’ll have some… intimate experience with it soon enough.”
Not that Ky’lar would ever do such a thing, but some of the demons he knew would —- just have to give them the right incentive and they would possess anyone just for sport. “So, the real question is are you going to try that again?”
❝ You really think it will work? ❞ An assumption that could prove fatal if wrong. Ky’lar might not have known much, but he knew enough to doubt that it would solve his problems. Not to mention his father was still out there and that could make things complicated,
“ You don’t have to care as long as you do what I BLOODY GRACIOUSLY ask of you —- and then I can send your ass back where it came from. How about that? ” Those are the rules of summoning: she is the only one who can send him back and it at least makes for a great bargaining chip.
the words stung harsher than he thought they would : being sent back was one thing, but he doubted it would be somewhere pleasant. a reason to why he sucked in a deep breath for a few moments and then let it out slowly,
❝ —– i’ll take care of what you want. ❞ ky was going to add in the part where he wasn’t a pet, nor a friend, or anyone to be trusted, but instead, he decided to leave out that part for good reason,
