warringpeace:

“There is much that you could search for.”

The man’s answer may have been simple, but it wasn’t specific enough. An enemy could have been looking for ways to enter the Eternal Realm. Until a clear line of friend or foe had been established, Thor wouldn’t completely trust him. He’d dealt with his brother often enough to know a few ways to tell when someone was lying ( not that these always worked ), so he wasn’t fooled easily.

Heimdall took a few steps forward, pausing only when Thor raised his hand to keep him from going any further. Though they were both wary, they didn’t need to scare him off either.

However, a part of him felt that demons weren’t easy to scare.

image

that much was true, there were many things that were able to be searched for, but only one was what he was interested in. by most standards, it wasn’t much, but the crime he was going to commit was great — greater than most would even like to admit when dealing with most human standards at least. though, he doubted that it mattered now —- he barely considered himself human… even on good days.

however, he stood his ground : for now, there was no reason for him to back down — if they wanted to know specifics, he would give them as needed, but not entirely. ky’lar knew that even coming here was dangerous —- even more so since he chose to come not just in secrecy, but also alone

❝ true. what i’m looking for some sort of weapon i can only find here. ❞

rather, it was more that he assumed that he could find some sort of weapon there that could help the demon get rid of his father. in truth, it wasn’t much, but it was a start —- in truth one that he hoped would be able to work in his favor.

❝ one that’s needed to settle a personal issue. ❞

❛ —– it’s the results that matter more than anything and it’s easier to put forth effort into plans made out of haste than more detailed one’s. ❜ then again, it was rare that ky’lar ever made a plan that lasted —- working with what he had was so much easier than limiting himself to one direction.

❛ there is always room for improvement, but also failure. a reason to why i stick to of the moment plans and never try —- at least too hard. ❜

❝ or what —— you’ll put me in chains? you’re
going to do that  anyway so  what difference
does it make if I’m obedient? ❞

image

❝ actually, i was going to throw you to HELL, but the chains
are on for REASONS, caleb. you do what i want, everything
i want, and i can ASSURE you that you’ll never be put in
chains again. ❞ a lie, a bold one, but one he didn’t care about.

“I don’t remember saying it was my concern, Ky’lar.  Just responding to the conversation at hand.” He chuckled.

image

❝ —— and i told you to DROP it. ❞ his tone raised for a few moments as he took a step forward,

❝ i’m not going to repeat it again. ❞ a deep breath was taken in and let out slowly,

❝ you’ll eventually come to understand that whatever i do is for a reason. ❞ of course, he wouldn’t go any further than that due to the fact that ky’lar cared more than he would honestly admit. a reason to why he kept himself guarded…. he couldn’t let anyone see that weakness in him. not even himself.

his throat’s sore that swallowing itself is a difficult endeavor and Ky’s hand wrapped around it didn’t help. you can’t break what’s already broken and someone else had already beaten him to the punch a long time ago. if they hadn’t then maybe he’d be more submissive yet he had his doubts on that one. it’s not in his nature to follow commands and he’s too reckless to care about the consequences of disobeying. ❝neither do I.❞ with one good shove he pushes Ky away, thankful for his enhanced strength. ❝you’re always telling me to get on my knees so maybe it’s your turn for a change.❞

image

if this had been any other person, maybe the demon would have played just a bit nicer; they would have folded eventually. yet, caleb was a different story entirely, and as such, his fingernails dug deeper into the other’s flesh. as his grip tightened, his patience started to fail as well,

❝ i don’t get on my knee’s for anyone,  caleb. let alone for a little slave like you. ❞

Meg narrowed her eyes at him, hardly surprised by his tone, but still pissed off. It was probably her own fault for thinking she could have a decent conversation with a demon for once. “And who might that be, hm? There’s not a damn soul left on this forsaken rock who’s interested in my company.”

Anger, annoyance, slight hint of despair…“As for doing something important…I don’t feel like I’ve done that since the rise of Lucifer.” Moving along like a mindless creature, obeying orders she didn’t want to comply with, pretending to be a good little demon under the ruling of a King who could be described as none other than her ultimate nemesis. Yep, life was going great for Meg.

There was so much hatred within her that she struggled on a daily basis to keep calm and carry on, she could really do with a war or something equally slaughter-filled. Something or someone to work out all her anger on until she managed to find a better purpose in life. “Regardless of what the truth is, you have my vote.” She shrugged before taking a sip of her bottle. No harm in admitting to that, it wasn’t like anyone truly believed Meg loved working for Crowley or supported him and his ruling.

image

ironically enough, the truth was that even if she was being honest, her vote wouldn’t matter much. as long as crowley was on the throne, no one was safe, and that meant unique circumstances for everyone. there were two major sides; lucifer’s and crowley’s very own. if you didn’t chose one, you were with lucifer by proxy, and things rarely went well for them these days.

if anything, ky’lar would have enjoyed lucifer back on earth, but that would have came with far more risks than he was willing to take. not to mention the after effects of such a stunt wouldn’t end well for him or…. anyone that was involved.

to that reason, he took in a deep breath, and then let it out slowly; if she knew her facts, things wouldn’t end well no matter what he did. yet, at the same time, he was at least going to attempt to be decent. after-all, there was little he could do since crowley was running the show, and all freedoms he had from before were more or less dissolved,

❝ the rise of lucifer was something, but at the same time? i’m quite sure crowley won’t let anyone escape their placements —- deals are one thing, but what i want? much larger… ‘specially since it would get me off of someone’s radar.  ❞

❛ —– you seem caught off-guard in your little elaborated schemes,
DEMON… yet again, DEATH does not like to be toyed with and no
one is as LUDICROUS as you to be tempted in such interest. i must
admit that i find it quite entertaining to watch. ❜

❛ —– there is something ALLURING in seeing his VULNERABILITY,
          don’t you think? ❜

what he wanted to say was that DEATH was simply  CONQUEST; that the
HORSEMAN meant nothing to him at all and that he would LEAVE the other
ALONE when the time came for it. the only PROBLEM was that ky’s ACTUAL
feelings were far too COMPLICATED for him to even explain in normal terms.

a REASON to why he took in a deep breath and then let it out SLOWLY

❛ i have to AGREE, but my interest in DEATH is… complicated. ❜

Abby snorts derisively, “she might not want shit to do with you, might wanna punch you in the dick but shes not exactly a monster that wants you dead. lets be honest here the kids my jiminy fucking cricket.”

he really should’ve thought of that before saying stupid things. “Oh we can make idle threats against meph and it’s no big deal but mentioning dearest lucifer is just a touch too far? is that—–is that how its working now?” she asks with a wry smirk, “because lemme tell you it’s not. no one tells me what I can and can’t leave out. you crossed the line first so reap what you sow champ.”

image

the only REASON he didn’t want anyone else involved was due to the fact it was his PROBLEMS and no one else’s. maybe that made him a bit ODD, but in his mind, he wanted to keep this all on HIMSELF. no matter what he did, no matter WHAT he had achieved, it almost always ended up FALLING to someone else to either take the CREDIT or BLAME

either way, it was a LOSE lose situation that he wasn’t going to be able to WIN,

❝ she wants me BACK in hell for all time, abby. i do think with enough INFLUENCE she can get it, but you want to know the real kicker? i know for a FACT that meph will be around for the REST of my damnable life. ❞ he honestly hated it; hated the understanding of the situation that he found himself in, but it was the TRUTH ( for the most part ).

his fists clenched together tightly as he tried to calm himself, but it’s effects were yet to be seen,

❝ I know you HATE that i’m enjoying myself with him, but the MOMENT you bring him up again, it gets PERSONAL.❞

image

❝ ——–Do you REALLY think you can GROUND me? Last i checked, i was FREE to leave at anytime, and i’m QUITE sure that statement still STANDS. ❞

Grounding him WOULDN’T  do much, not really, but he never TOOK it well. More to the point, he was USED to getting what he WANTED, and it was RARE that he was DENIED anything…. even up to and INCLUDING his freedom
