“ That’s horseshit – you don’t have to jus’ lay down and accept the hand yer dealt — watch that brave movie with the scottish lass big curls crazy dreams..” Meg said narrowing her eyes at him . “ If you could change your fate would ya?”
to many, they would have begged to change their fate ; to have an option of where they would end up or be. oddly enough, ky’lar had a real chance to change things, but he refused. he decided that it was easier to stay with what he knew best than enter uncharted territory that he knew wouldn’t end well,
❝ no, you don’t, but sometimes it’s easier to accept what you are. ❞
still holding her GODSLAYER she looked at the man , raising an eyebrow ❛ I know my friends and you’re not one of them . . ❜ she replied
❛
so I’m gonna REPEAT MYSELF– who are you ? ❜
it was then ky’lar KNEW that his choice of WORDS wasn’t exactly the BEST way to go FORWARD . if more time was taken , maybe something BETTER could have been given , but all the same , it seemed he had to at least REVEAL something more —- even though he DOUBTED he would be known around here, ❛ that may be TRUE ———- it’s ky’lar. ❜
of course he knew that this was a bad idea to TEXT him, but at the same time, it was a VALID question —- even if it wasn’t exactly the PROPER time for it.
as such, a deep sigh escaped his lips as he moved to send a short text back, and he knew he would have to keep TEXTS to a minimum… hopefully.
[ text; magnet dad ] who even uses siri anymore??
[ text; magnet dad ] never mind. i’ll just sort this out myself. [ text; magnet dad ] can i kill them?
. bobby’s grin only grows, glad to provide some relief. ironically, he enjoys the warmth and the sun quite a bit, often found lounging by the pool or even on a rooftop sometimes. but the cold is his element. he shrugs. ❝ eh, everybody’s got different tastes. but if it’s COLD you want, it’s COLD you got. luckily, it gets pretty cold in the winter and nice and warm up here in the summer, so you kinda get the best of both worlds. ❞
❝ growing up, the most COLD i got was when we went to our old cabin near one of the ski resorts in nevada. ‘round once a year, my family, if you could even call it that, went up for ‘round two weeks for some sort of charity event. they said it was to ‘help’ people, but mainly it was LINING their pockets, and giving a small amount to some fund. ❞ not that it truly mattered too much to him, but those were his own version of the facts,
❝ usually it was trying to stay away from everyone, but that was BEFORE things… took a turn for the worst. before things started to happen, before i was locked away, and they BURNED. ❞
there was no denying that it was the truth, john was someone that ky’lar couldn’t control —- trying had lead him no where, and now he created his own personal hell. the warnings were ignored, he couldn’t even correct his mistakes this time, and now he knew he was in far too deep than he ever thought possible.
❝ —— yeah, i know that. jus’ thought it would be different is all. ❞
plagues were complex, but easy to create, and they bounced from person to person. an earthquake would be harder to control and starting one would be difficult — panic is one thing, but not when it’s possible to get caught under a building yourself,
❝ —— yeah, not my STYLE. ❞
the one thing she can give him credit for is that he’s always been straight with her. he hasn’t hidden the worst parts of himself, or used her to achieve his own agendas to the best of her knowledge and that’s more than she could say for most. while she wouldn’t declare that she trusts him, he doesn’t make her as suspicious. maybe they’re on borrowed time but so what? they can still make the best of it. there’s no rule that says he has to leave things on bad terms with her, right? ❝I’m alright with that — it might come as a surprise to you but I like having you around.❞
she might have enjoyed his presence, but he was being blunt. eventually, he would leave, and wouldn’t come back. it was easier for him that way : cutting off all ties before someone could get too attached. he hated it, hated that he had to run away each time he managed to get comfortable around another, but then again, the demon wouldn’t have had it any other way,
❝ i highly doubt that, but for now, i’ll stay. you can count on it.❞
Some of the men were starting to head inside the strip joint, whether it was merely to escape the chilling night or if her performance was responsible, Zarnecki wouldn’t care. She was doing her job, racking in customers. The usual cat calls and overly flirtatious cheers were thrown at Katrina, the men praising her for the sexy display. There was nothing out of the ordinary so far, until she heard one of the men – the same she shot a little wink at – speak to her as he moved towards the makeshift stage. His question caught her a bit of guard as none of the other guys had even thought of asking her anything related to how cold she must be, they were all to busy staring at how erect her nipples were because of it. They didn’t care, so why did he?
Katrina had been ‘conditioned’ to think of herself as nothing but a sex toy to just about everyone – her boss still practicing certain methods as the stripper rarely ever learned completely from the last time. So naturally she assumed that he only inquired such a thing for one reason only. Katrina twisted around onto all fours on the stage, tossing brunette hair back out of her face and breasts, the long locks strung across her shoulders and down her back. She crawled towards the edge, her gaze barely breaking from his, her eyes glazed with a look of starved lust. Her movements were slow and meticulous, portraying herself like a seductive cat. The other males groaned and fawned over her – she couldn’t help but wonder what this man was thinking.
“You want to take me inside, baby?” she purred, puffing out her chest to accent her breasts and perky nipples. Tongue slowly licked the lower of her lips before she scraped her teeth over them, the corners of her mouth lifting in the kind of coy grin that most of her patrons found to be sexy. She had to rely on experience with the majority of the men she’s seduced and slept with to reel in more, usually it did the trick which is why she assumed that this time would be no different.
while most men would have simply enjoyed her for looks alone, ky’lar always had a hard time remembering that he was different from the horde of humanity that lives on earth. though, in reality, take the brand of his species away, and he could blend in quite easily with humanity. earth, for all that it was, ended up being a middle ground that was easy to blend into, and where no one cared if you were out of the norm for most.
though, his mind ended up shifting over what she looked like; not that it wasn’t easy of course, but feelings complicated matters. more to the point, they made things far more difficult than it would have been if he stayed on point. for whatever she was, ky’lar knew getting involved too much would lead down path’s he didn’t care to go down. not again at least.
❝ —– gonna guess i don’t have any option, huh? ❞ he did, he could have walked away then and there : turned around and acted like it never happened. the only problem was that he couldn’t allow himself to do that… not yet at least,
❝ —– could be fun. ❞
“‘The way you see it’ is wrong.” He’s not surprised that the other would think that way, however. Demons are beings of hell who worship Lucifer, after all; their belief system isn’t known for its accuracy. Castiel holds his ground, blade still in hand, as he fixes the demon before him with a steady angelic glare. His patience is already wearing thin, and he doesn’t really have the will to deal with mouthy demons at the moment. “I suggest you state your business and leave.”
it wasn’t the first time nor would it be the last that demon was told that he was ultimately wrong. sure, he might have had bias facts, but in his mind, there was no way that angels would ever win —- not as long as he had a say in it. though, at the same time, his own views were bias to the point where an angel could have saved him, and the demon would still want to exterminate every last one of their kind,
❝ my business is i don’t like your kind anywhere near me — what happened to the days were your kind never walked the earth? i’d sure love to go back to them. ❞
❝ you know, there are EASIER ways to make me agree to things, but as per-usual, EVERYONE chooses the one’s i HIGHLY dislike. ❞ a deep sigh escaped his lips; he hated suits, at one point he ENJOYED them, but these days? it made him feel… disgusting at times.
